I'm very happy with this bed. It slides away and unfolds very easily. It took a long time to put together, but the instructions were very clear and every piece lined up perfectly. It looks great in my room. I also bought a 6" folding mattress to go in it. I haven't tried to put it away in the cabinet yet, but when I measure, there appears to be plenty of room for it.. Linda. This Murphy bed is very nice. Assembly wasn’t too hard for a grandma just shy of 70. You would be better off with 2 people, the chest is heavy. It looks really nice. I’m very satisfied with it. We love it It’s absolutely beautiful, only two issues. One was a warning sticker placed on the top of the cabinet, and it was a little bit of a pain to take off. Second was one of the panels pre-drill holes were wrong. I thought it was me at first, but I triple checked everything and I believe maybe these holes were pre-drilled for a different size bed. This is stellar! My husband and I took our time putting this together, we wanted to make sure it turned out really well. We split it up into 2 days, also if you have two drills, itll probably be quicker lol. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I do recommend having a second person around, some of the pieces are bigger and you just need an extra set of hands.
