UPDATE Nice looking table however veneer top started bubbling up 6 weeks after delivery and setup. Contacted Wayfair and was told we would hear from incident resolution team within 3 business days. After 3 weeks I called them back and they immediately shipped a new table top. Delivered and installed today. So far no bubbles in the veneer. The table is HEAVY, huge and absolutely beautiful! Even without the extension inserted, you can comfortably seat 6 people around it. I assembled it alone in 2 hours but I recommend having help as the instructions require you to put the giant table top flat on a blanket/rug, flip the base upside down onto the tabletop, attach bolts and then flip the entire assembled (super heavy) table right side up. I found another way to do it since I was alone but having someone help you will allow you to place the table top right over the base and add the screws from underneath. The sliding doors for storage underneath are a really nice touch. Also, the packaging for this table was beyond efficient-my dining room was piled high with cardboard and styrofoam. 5 trash bags just for the styrofoam alone! Love the look of the table! Its simple style and color are exactly what we were looking for. The butterfly leaves are amazing and easy to use. The reasons I didn’t give it 5 stars are 1) a screw was sticking out within the slider mechanism that prevented one side from pulling all the way out. We basically had to force it so the screw would break away. It’s still very sturdy without it. 2) it does feel more narrow than I was expecting. This table is versatile and elegant with a transitional style. Featuring an optional extension leaf that can be removed and stored away, it can expand when additional seating is desired. The tabletop is round without the extension leaf and becomes oval when the leaf is inserted. The table is constructed with gorgeous acacia wood with a natural gray finish. The single pedestal base consists of 4 pieces of wood that are beautifully carved in a concaved and curved design. They meet the center and separate again to meet each foot of the base, which also have gorgeous carved detailing. The one removable extension leaf transforms the table from 54" to 72" wide, maintaining a consistent depth of 54" and a height of 30". This table can be paired with many styles of chairs in different colors to match your dining aesthetic. It comfortably seats up to six people with the leaf inserted.

This table initially arrived broken on the rim of the tabletop. It was very easy to take pictures and file them with wayfair to request a replacement part. Wayfair went further and replaced the entire table AND arranged to remove the broken table. This process did take some more time than we would have liked but the communication with both Wayfair and their local delivery team was wonderful.
