Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. This table is HEAVYYYYY!!!!! Solid wood and very sturdy. I have moved into my first home and have put together a ton of pieces of furniture and this one would’ve been worth it to pay someone to do. It was kind of tricky getting the shelf to line up with the notches in the legs. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because the wood split on both sides of the shelf by the leg and because of the water spots on one area of the table top.
