I wanted to give this 5 stars! The oil-rubbed bronze is the PERFECT tone in person (not too brown, more of a softwarm black but distinct from true black when placed next to it). Put the whole thing together myself except I can’t tell if this plastic thing needs to be removed. I don’t think the wires will fit otherwise. The instructions don’t specify and for an electrical noob such as myself it is mildly frustrating to have to wait for my husband to get home to finish the project. Overall I like this a lot. It's basically made entirely of "plastic" which makes it very lightweight so it feels cheap, but it doesn't look cheap, if that makes sense. The only thing that surprised me and is taking some getting used to is the way the light is a bit more centrally focused due the sides of the fixture not letting light through like a full glass dome would.
