It puts you in the mind of attaching hooks to a Christmas ornament. You have to be very careful when installing not to risk dropping and breaking one. The textured fabric is beautiful. Totally worth the price! If I had to change something I would switch out the diffuser. This light is beautiful and a fantastic addition to our boho pendant cluster! This would have been a perfect rating had it not been for the mounting bracket holes not lining up with a standard 4” ceiling box. It had to be altered (drilled) to fit properly. I personally had no problem performing this task, however, I’m not very pleased with this issue, and I’d imagine folks without the proper tools or know-how would be extremely disappointed. I replaced an old ceiling fan fixture with this fixture. I debated for so long about what kind of fixture I needed. It had to be fairly large, I didn’t want it to demand attention, and it needed to have soft, brushed antique brass or bronze metal. It’s perfection. Our room was so dark with the little candelabra bulbs in the old ceiling fan. Now there is beautiful, soft lighting across the entire room, even in the formerly dark corners. This is a very easy to install light. The light is very modern and you can use basically any type of light bulb. We are using the cool modern ones to make the light look modern and sleek.
