This light looks great once it’s up, but the installation was more problematic than it should have been. The instructions were unclear, and the illustrations did not match the actual setup well enough to be truly helpful. That turned what should have been a simple install into a frustrating process.
Visually, the fixture is attractive. The hand-woven rattan shade and brass hardware give it a warm coastal, boho look, and it does cast a nice soft light with a pleasing pattern. It works well if your goal is atmosphere rather than super bright task lighting.
That said, the poor installation experience takes away from the overall value. When you buy a ceiling fixture, the setup should not feel like guesswork. If you are not experienced with light fixture installation, this could be especially aggravating.
