The materials feel solid and well-finished; the metal parts have a consistent finish and the glass diffuser appears free of chips or defects. Screws and mounting hardware look durable and complete. This light is perfect for my front porch. I have an older house built in 1920’s, and I wanted to keep some of the older charm. This has a cool vintage, yet modern look. Now I just need to repaint the area around the base since they previous light was literally painted to the ceiling. Only complaint is that the bulb socket seems to be slightly crooked.
