This would have been a perfect rating had it not been for the mounting bracket holes not lining up with a standard 4” ceiling box. It had to be altered (drilled) to fit properly. I personally had no problem performing this task, however, I’m not very pleased with this issue, and I’d imagine folks without the proper tools or know-how would be extremely disappointed. Pretty. A tad larger for my hallway than I had anticipated. It does not have as much speckled colors as pictured or had hoped for. I have the fixture in amber and I do like that color. I am in search of finding the "right" bulb for this fixture. I reduced it to 60 watts and it is bright..the fixture allows up to 100 W. I think a clear bulb will not have the "spotlight" look that the current bulb has...or possibly an amber bulb. Looks great when the light is not on.
