This 2-light semi-flush mount is just the piece to brighten up your entryway or bathroom in an understated style. It features a 13" W off-white fabric drum shade, which wraps around two 60W bulbs (not included) to brighten up your space. Love the final look, but it was the most difficult light I’ve ever installed. First off, wear a pair of gloves (vinyl or latex). There is fiberglass insulation in the base piece that connects to the mount. There are two screws that you thread the base through will disrupt the insulation. I managed to get in into the few cuts on my hands and paying the price for that mistake tonight (super itchy). The glass diffuser is also tricky to get on if you’re working solo. I found it was best not to thread the rod all the way into the base—Just enough to get the bottom washers and nut starter on holding the diffuser, then work my way up to threading the rod into the base. Such a beautiful fixture. I love the way it twinkles on the ceiling. I changed out an ugly can light and put this in and it changed the ambiance entirely. Warm lighting. I installed a dimmer so I can adjust the amount of light needed. In the pix I have it on high and also on dim so you can see the light fixture portion. It's a much darker base than the photo Wayfair shows but I still like it. You can see what I'm talking about in one of the photos. In love with this light! It's clean and modern with a bit of character. The dimmability works great! It gets pretty bright but also looks great super dim. The glow it produces both inside the shade and above along the ceiling is also really lovely. Was pretty easy to install, but required two people to attach the shade. You need a long screwdriver since the base is so much narrower. The outer metal shade only sits on top of the glass, so took some finessing from below to get it centered perfectly.
