This is a 6-light semi-recessed ceiling light. It has a square hexagonal shape and the shade is a clear acrylic sheet. (Note! The lampshade material is not glass, please do not buy if you mind this.) This fixture will bring enough lighting to your space! Since its shades are acrylic sheets, it gives you a near-glass effect while allowing the overall weight of the fixture to be lighter and easier to install.

The black metal light design fits in perfectly with my lighting throughout my house. I was a little disappointed that the inserts were plastic and not glass. Warning! THis is a very deceptive item. Does not describe at all what the light source is. I ordered it and even though the item description says " includes 1 bulb", the "bulbs" are actually dozens of little tiny bulbs that can never be replaced. In other words, eventually when these little light sources burn out, they will do so one at a time, gradually causing this light to dim over the years, and then the only way to fix that is to replace the entire fixture .
