This is a really stylish light with a modern take on mid century vibes. The light is a little bit of work to assemble because each little spiked detail is screwed in individually. Outside of that installing is a breeze. The spiked detail is a hollow tube which I didn’t notice, but also don’t mind it. It does give really great light and I’m using this as an overhead light in a bedroom that is being used as an office. For this price point at over 2K, it was a complete disappointment. The packing came in a box that was not fitted properly. No instructions. There was a flaw where the socket was facing outward and sticking out of the disk. Perhaps we didn’t put it together properly but my electrician gave up on it.
