The light construction and glass shade are great. The glass shade look very nice. The reason I selected 4 stars and not 5 stars was due to the mounting. This fixture will only mount flush to the ceiling by compressing the fixtures wires and insulation (about 1") against the ceiling. This light is perfect in my closet! With an 8' ceiling, I needed something that was semi-flush so it wouldn't hang too low in the closet. This one is beautiful and just what I needed. One note, you do need candleabra base bulbs and the pointed ones are better than the round ones. I only had round ones, and I was able to use them, but one of two of them are really tight when I put the glass discs on the arms. I got LED bulbs, so they don't get hot, but I still don't recommend the round ones.The finish is as it looks in the pictures. It's beautiful brushed brass that is not too yellow.
