I am so happy with this Murphy bed! It is super sturdy and easy to go from cabinet to bed. You can do it with one person easier with two people. It has plenty of room for a fold up mattress inside. After about 5 hours of building this bed and a million pieces, we were happy with it. We were on the last couple pages for installation and lo and behold the locks did not line up with the holes so we had to drill bigger holes. I'm a 71 year old female and I didn't have any trouble assembling it all by myself using an electric drill with Phillips head bit, a regular Phillips head screwdriver and a rubber mallet. We love the Latitude Run products. Solid wood feel on the tops and doors and sold construction that feels like it'll last. The assembly takes some time and space as you'll assemble multiple pieces at once and them assemble those pieces together. The bed feels solid once constructed and is easy to pull out by one person. The way the doors fold over make it a nice headboard area where you can set up some tables or shelves alongside it to act as nightstands when used. The receptacle and usbs are in a handy spot for phone charging etc. The unit was a little bigger than we anticipated, a little more bulky that expected but not unreasonable considering it holds a trifold mattress in a cabinet and doesn't go flat to the wall. It does not include a mattress so add in about 200 or so for a decent trifold mattress and the price is still a solid find for a Murphy bed cabinet. The queen mattress hangs over slightly at the end of the platform, like an inch or so, not a big deal but the platform should ideally fully support the entire mattress, it would have been a bigger deal if it were at the head of the bed.. Relatively easy to assemble. Mattress is thin but when doubled over it works ok as a convertible toddler bed to full bed. It's held up for about a month without issues. I really like the Murphy bed it was delivered on time and was in almost perfect condition. The item had one minor scratch, and it was easy to paint over. Have one person hold or sit on the empty bed frame when installing the hydraulic system to prevent pinch injuries. Please do not remove the iron straps compressing the hydraulic rods until you attach them to the body. Removing it early will cause the rod too long to fit into the predrilled hole.
