The Kapellen upholstered ottoman is way bigger than I thought it was going to be. For my tiny home it makes things rather tight in my living room. This couch is actually pretty decent. Wasn’t sure but the price for the size was great. The seat depth lists 18.9” but it’s really closer to 20” (see photos) the storage is nice but the wooden slats have to be removed if you want to access storage. Other than that it’s very nice. Overall I really like this couch. It’s super cute, spacious, and looks great in my living room. The fabric is soft and I love having the ottoman. My main complaint is that the cushions are thinner than I expected, so it’s not as plush as it looks in the pictures. Assembly was also a little frustrating because some of the pieces were really difficult to fit together, and a couple of them still don’t fit together completely. It’s super easy to put the feet on by hand, and having a rubber mallet to connect the couch connectors together is very helpful. Seems to be decent quality material and cushioning. The brown color is more like a sand color and blends really nicely with our light gray walls, giving the room a more warm feeling than our previous black pleather sectional. We usually don’t allow our dogs on the furniture and our kids are all grown, but we shall see how it holds up with our grandkids over the years! Update after one year the reclining mechanism broke on one side so it cannot be reclined. The thin underside fabric that holds the stuffing in place has ripped on the other side. There’s not a proper way to reattach the fabric to hold the stuffing. I’ll be surprised if it lasts another year. A really great reclining sofa. The micro suede fabric is comfortable and looks nice. As a heads up for some people using micro suede for the first time, you should not use spray on deodorizer. Make sure you look up ways to clean a micro suede sofa. As other people have mentioned, the armrests are a little bit low, but not terrible. I think they’re a great position for when leaning off to the side, a little bit or even laying down across the sofa. The reclining handle is responsive and not hard to pull. The actual reclining feature is wonderful. There’s just enough resistance in the leg lift so that you don’t have to push too hard to make it go down or lift your legs up to make it go up. The center seat is also very comfortable. I have no complaints whatsoever about this sofa on day one In my photo, I have added a white and a purple PlayStation five controller for color reference. There is a slight green tint to the sofa when viewed with LED lightbulbs. But in natural sunlight, it does have a true grayish color. This is a very nice looking sectional. Love the color and the functionality of it. Is comfortable enough to watch tvmovies but not enough to take a nice nap. It came with a glue type stain and all the offered was a very low discount and if I wanted a replacement I needed to cover the shipping fee which was not worth it so I have to keep it like that. So far we’ve loved this couch, fur babies included! The biggest issue we had was that the instruction manual was missing when we received the item. I messaged about it and received a reply a few days later but we had already figured out how to put it together. My only complaint outside of that is the cushions do seem the slide out easily.
