The brown color is more like a sand color and blends really nicely with our light gray walls, giving the room a more warm feeling than our previous black pleather sectional. We usually don’t allow our dogs on the furniture and our kids are all grown, but we shall see how it holds up with our grandkids over the years! Fantastic couch. Easy to put together, although I did get a broken part i needed to replace. The back supports can be somewhat flimsy to attach the backs. Once done though, it looks amazing. Modern and sleek, although keep in mind it is quite firm. The modern look comes at a cost of relatively thin cushions. Wouldn't be very comfortable for sleeping, but provides great support for sitting. For the price, its 5 stars.
