I did a lot of research regarding the weight capacity of metal beds. We have a king size black beauty rest mattress that works best with box springs so the total mattress weight has to be around 200lbs. My husband and I combined are just under 400 lbs. so I wanted a minimum of 700 lbs to more than cover. Also my husband is 6’2” and I was concerned about his feet getting caught in the footboard. We tested it without the box springs because the bed doesn’t require those. He didn’t have any issues but we ended up adding the box springs anyway. Now the bed with the springs goes higher than the footboard. The mattress height alone is 14 inches and box springs add about 4 inches. The bed frame is heavy at just under 103 pounds so that was important. I didn’t want a lightweight frame. The decor on the head and footboard is beautiful, gives an antique vibe like the bed my grandmother had but no squeaking. We have slept on this for just under a week and there is no sound. We were able to put this together is about twenty minutes. The instructions are clear with numbers for connecting pieces that slid into place easily. We did use the rubber mallet included to secure each piece. Love the bed, very happy with the sturdiness and look.. Linda. Kansas City, MO. Fri Sep 11 2026

Upholstered bed frame with a tall headboard, every detail is made with care. Velet fabric is not only supremely soft and comfortable but also incredibly long-lasting. Queen-size bed frame with drawers looks low-profile and exquisite, perfectly offering your bedroom a luxurious ambiance and relaxation.

This is without a doubt the prettiest bed I have ever had! I got the beige and I am so happy I did! It is beautiful! The color goes with so many design schemes. The velvet is so soft!!!! I thought having the velvet all around the frame of the bed too was a bit overkill but I was so wrong. Not only does it look nice but when you walk around the bed and your leg brushes against it, it feels so nice! My only complaint are the storage drawers. They are nice and big but they have metal grating instead of being closed off. They also don’t have a handle of any sort so pulling them out is a bit awkward. But seriously could not be happier with this bed overall!. Mary. North Carolina. Fri Oct 02 2026

Take it home quickly to give your bedroom a new look and ensure a good night's sleep every night!

This frame has worked out well for me. It's easy to assemble, and feels very sturdy. My only comment, and reason for 4 stars is the fact that there are two outward facing screws on each side of the bed that are silver, so very visible if there's nothing covering the bedframe. Not sure why these couldn't be on the inside!. Maureen. San Francisco, CA. Mon Aug 10 2026
