purchased with kitchen remodel. love the look. it does the job. had my old cooktop 40 years, this will take a bit of adjusting. grates are a bit high & get very hot so caution is required to avoid getting burnt, even when flame is off. the electronic start is tricky to use, you cannot just push the knob down, you must slowly turn the knob to ignite. this does take some learning, i still have to try a few times to light the flame. i worry i may burn out the ignition switch? also, the instructions for use are incomplete, even online. not sure the reasoning and correct use of odd sized burners. would love to have an explanation to know if i am using them correctly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for our kitchen remodel and so glad we did. It's so much better that our last gas stove. We decided to upgrade to the 48" stove and even though my wife initially didn't want the large size she later told me she's so glad I insisted on it. We use the griddle all the time and it's perfect for making breakfasts. The griddle heats quickly and is thick and heats evenly. The burners put out so much heat and it makes cooking so much quicker. No more waiting for that big pot of water to boil. The back burners with the low burner setting is fantastic and perfect to keep a pot on low simmer or just keep it warm until it's time to eat. We have little kids and the bright LED lights on the front of the cooktop are only on when a burner is on. The blue LED lights are so easy to spot and help me know if a burner is still on (or if it's been turned on by the little ones). I am truly impressed with this cooktop. Every aspect of it feels quality made. If you're on the fence about getting this cooktop, just jump in a get it. You won't regret it. I'd definitely buy it again if given the option.

This range was one of the best decisions I made in my kitchen renovation. I absolutely love it! It has the power and versatility needed for serious cooking. When choosing a range I had started looking at the major household brands like GE, Kitchenaid, etc and found that almost universally people were complaining about too many of the burners being really wimpy and also about the control knobs being plastic. Some people had even reported the knobs melting from being close to the heat, and having the markings rub off. I am used to a commercial range at work and was just not willing to accept poor performance. I kept looking and found Thor and cannot believe this brand does not get more attention! Every burner is great, and there is still some difference between them so you have higher and lower power options. The knobs are metal and on the front, so they will never be affected by the heat of cooking. I have been cooking on this the last 6 weeks and I absolutely adore it. The knobs light up blue when a burner is on as well which is fantastic for safety! The only mild complications I can even mention are that the grates are somewhat large, so small butter melters and such may not sit straight. I am fine with accepting that. I did have to make some alterations to my range cabinet as well but it was totally worth it. We had to put in a custom height "shelf" to hold the range and then also had to add a piece of countertop stone at the back since it didn't take up the full depth. All worth it, IMHO. Thor deserves so much more recognition and for the price this is absolutely the best range you could get at home. Cannot believe some people are paying the same amount for the common household brands and getting so much less for the money.

I like it , I got one to replace the harvest gold one in my canning room but had to use it to replace one in a rental first so I ordered a second one, the issues others had complained about were not a problem, the mounting brackets do need a 1/2 inch piece of wood under each one to level with the counter top but that was easy and it heats just fine.

This is our most complimented appliance in our kitchen (got it in white!). Very beautiful but a total mess to install (not a standard electrical configuration) and it doesn’t heat up very fast or very strong. I hated boiling pasta or large pots of soup because it would take a longgggg time! Should have listened to the reviews

We recently had our whole kitchen remodeled and chose the Kucht 48" cooktop as our star attraction. We chose it for the beautiful look, wonderful features and the flexibility of the burners for our style of cooking. The safety features on it were not on other comparable cook tops, such as the blue light that shows on the knobs when the burner is on and the reignite feature, which are pretty critical for gas appliances. We have been so happy with this cook top and we would have bought more Kucht appliances, such as wall ovens and built in microwave if they had it at the time we ordered in early 2022. We have not had any issues at all and absolutely LOVE our cooktop. It does take some getting used to as this is the first professional style appliance we have ever had where the heat generated by the large bright flames means we need to be more aware and not get too close to them. Worth every penny and I highly recommend this wonderful product for anyone who wants to elevate their cooking experience. Thank you Kucht! You made our culinary dreams come true.

After 19 years, my original high end 36" 6 burner cook top started giving me safety issues, so it was time for a replacement. For a couple of months, I surfed the internet to find a replacement. I started looking at other high end units, but I saw the Kucht 36" burner at a reasonable price...not to mention the excellent reviews. I pulled the trigger and ordered it. My unit arrived on Jan 2, 2020. The construction of the Kucht appeared to at least matched other high end units, but exceeds in other aspects. Installation was a breeze, since very little modifications needed to be done to my granite. I wished that I order this unit years ago. My wife and I are happy campers now. First night, I cooked a 4 course dinner. Any spills were clean easily and quickly with the sealed burners. I just ordered the wok ring, so looking forward to woking some of my Asian favorites. I am very impressed with heat from the 18K BTU burner for searing steaks as well as the smaller 6K BTU burner for those delicate sauces. I hope to use this unit well beyond 19 years.

Nice looking unit but has problems with an important part. Had to go through two units and had to go out and buy better quality part to fix it. Put in lot of hours troubleshooting. It now works fine. Bad part can cause safety issues and we notified company of what the problems were.

So far so good! I added extended warranty because you pretty much have to these days (needed repair to my first, another brand). The Power Boil is a great feature. I agree that the warmer burner wasn't necessary~ would have preferred another 8 inch burner instead of that and the huge "Large Burner" (for canning, etc.) I'll never need. As for its messiness ~ it is. Spatters are everywhere after cooking. The 3-part cleaning kit provided works amazingly well ~ but you must spend 10 minutes after each stove use, and after cooling. I've removed the plastic knobs since they get dirty, as well as under them. This was the same with another brand ~ it's the nature of the glass. Had I known, I likely would not have gone with a cooktop when I built the kitchen (not to mention the difficulty in replacing it). Was aiming for kitchen cleanliness, but must also watch out for crumbs and drips that lodge in small space between glass and counter ~ a design flaw on all cooktops.

This cook top came with our brand new house so it wouldn't have been my first choice, if I'm being honest. But, because I'm not about to rip out all of the matching GE appliances that were installed, I have no choice but to use it. Having said that, I will admit that it is a decent stove. The controls are smooth and make it very easy to control the temperature whether you need high or low flame. The downside for me is that it doesn't feel real solid. The grates just kind of sit on top of the cook top in little indentations so, if you slide a heavier pot, it feels like they might fall off. Overall, good, not great.

This unit looks very nice. The pictures make it look more of a cream color, but it is a nice white. Goes with our "standard issue" tract home countertop 6" white tiles. It mostly fit fine, but it wasn't a walk in the park. The issue I had is that the gas nipple that comes out of the bottom of the unit that you're supposed to hook up to is pretty long. The Whirlpool I was replacing had a nipple out the bottom too but it was MUCH shallower and obviously since it was the old installation, everything fit. The GE specs on the unit say 4-3/4" overall height. I think that is just the cooktop metal box assembly. The nipple makes the unit well over this height. Anyways, the data on dimensions is very misleading. Nowhere in any literature or images did I ever see or anticipate this nipple being so long. I had to modify my oven housing to get everything to fit with my tight clearances. So, if you have a built-in right underneath where you want to put this cooktop, think about your clearances. Otherwise you are going to have a 9 hour install with a few trips to the hardware store to buy pipe fittings that one store will have some of and the other store may have the others and the last store will finally have the last part you need right before they close. I'm in the building trades- the ones that try not to get electrocuted and I thought this was going to be a breeze. The lack of clearances and information before hand made this job a challenge. I'm pretty sure if I would have paid for installation the installers would have simply said "it doesn't fit" and walked away. It fit, but I had to get out my sheet metal and tin snips to rebuild the corner of the oven that I had to notch out. It was the upper area where the controls are, above the actual oven so there is no hazard with heat shielding, but it was still a little more than I bargained for.

I am impressed not only with the rugged durable quality of this cooktop but the unique sleekness. Most importantly it functions with a high BTU. Love the large burners with ability to simmer! The price was right and it was delivered quickly and in perfect condition!

I have been using this for a couple of months now, I am so impressed. I can boil water so fast. Food cooks fast and effecient. I do have to use it on a lower setting than I am use to because it heats so even and fast. Like med heat is a setting of 3-4, in stead of other stoves where it's like 6-7. Easy to use, easy to clean, so sleek and modern. No knobs to clean under or around makes it so much nicer than tradienal coil stoves or gas burners where food gets stuck everywhere. I am very glad I purchased this cook top.

I bought this and finally installed this and I can say it looks very sleek and good quality. I think it’s definitely worth the price and if you’re looking for something to fit a small kitchenette this is perfect! I would recommend just for the way it looks but I have given it 4 stars because I have not used it at all so I’m not sure how well it functions.

I ordered this gas 5-burner drop-in stove from Lowe’s and picked it up 5 days later when it arrived at the store. Brought it home and unboxed it to check all the components. Everything was in the box. Installation was not too hard. It was already set up for natural gas which I have. It took a bit to figure where to mount the mount tabs (are at the extreme 4 corners with a small pilot hole that fits the mount screws.). I was thankful that the gas jets were already set for the right flame size and color. Is very nice they are already dialed in, though the instructions show how to adjust your flames if needed (high altitude installation etc.) All 5 burners will spark when you light any one of them and that appears normal. Good safety device really. It does not say in the instructions on starting a flame, but you have to press the knob down (starts sparking) keep it pressed down then rotate knob counterclockwise all the way to end for the flame to start, which is low level flame, then release pressure at low flame and dial it back up to desired level towards high (clockwise). If you release pressure once the flame is on it will go out unless you have gone to full stop counterclockwise under flame then released there. Then you can dial clockwise back to desired level and continue clockwise all the way to turn it off. Unit has a nice stainless/black contrast. Knobs feel firm and remove without too much complication. The heavy cast iron grates for the top fit pretty snugly and seem to have a bit of front or back movement which pushes the opposite end up a bit. Certainly for the price I am pleased as many units similar to this will cost 3X what I paid for this unit. The black padding weatherstripping got pressed inside the box between something so it has some smashed areas but I think it will expand later from where it was compressed after manufacture until now. Is a low-profile unit and the thickness happened to be the thickness of my granite countertops so it was a flush flat install. I am happy to have it installed and it looks good and works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] had 25 year old Jenn Air and it broke got this Bosch. It heats up quicker and cools down quicker. The wattage is higher so I am testing different setting to find the one I want. Takes a minute to heat to temp but about the same as my Jenn Air. The knobs dont come off and I can live with that. I usually clean about every couple weeks. Just like the Jenn Air I assume it will get some spots which wont come off. Over all I am pleased and would recommed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a small kitchen, so I chose the 24" cook top, and even with using all 4 burners at once, I had no problem with space issues. It is quite good looking and many think I got the induction cook top. Yes, the burners on this get hot and burned on food can happen, but a little baking soda and white vinegar make it easy to clean. Bosch also has a nice glass cook top cleaner. I'm purring! :)
