Used this today for the first time. I never used one before. Takes getting use to but works great. Cooked my sons burgers well. You must center the pan on the unit first, otherwise it will display a u like symbol and turn off. So make sure magnetic pan is on the unit and then power on. Also I love the H it displays when cooling off to let you know the unit is still Hot. I purchased out of laziness. Tired of cleaning the entire stove just to make burgers or whatever...lol. its easier to wipe down the counter and clean the unit. So when I saw this on Wayfair, I thought I could upgrade my gas cooktop with a newer one, as the dimensions were the same as my old gas cooktop. It arrives and I was surprised that the quality was better than my old one by a little bit. The strikers that ignite the fire were a bit larger and shouldn’t have issues if they get dirty. Overall it is a good cooktop. Unfortunately, the underside of the cooktop is much wider than my old one, so I can’t replace it in my kitchen as the wood underneath the cooktop I have now is too narrow. I am so happy. I bought the CASAINC Ge Natural Gas w/5 Burners. It’s roomy enough to use with different pot sizes without having them hitting against each other. It’s easy to clean and very efficient in cooking. I also bought the 900 CFM Ducted Under Cabinet Range Hood which I live also.
