Used this today for the first time. I never used one before. Takes getting use to but works great. Cooked my sons burgers well. You must center the pan on the unit first, otherwise it will display a u like symbol and turn off. So make sure magnetic pan is on the unit and then power on. Also I love the H it displays when cooling off to let you know the unit is still Hot. I purchased out of laziness. Tired of cleaning the entire stove just to make burgers or whatever...lol. its easier to wipe down the counter and clean the unit. I am an Asian and have been living in USA for 25 years .The most drive me crazy is cooking an Asian meal, because I never can find the strong burners for my needs. I ordered this stove few days ago and came two days later. I spent so much time looking for a gas stove with three burners and individual grates because I had 5 burners (I never used 4 or 5 burners at the same time), heavy busy grates make so difficult to bring them to the sink and clean them, But now this one makes my job so easier and I am enjoys cooking more and finishing much faster and cleaning less!
