I needed an additional option for cooking meals while my kitchen is being remodeled. I decided to try the induction cooker after testing the features I have used it for boiling water, frying breakfast foods, sautéing veggies and frying various meats. We love this cooktop, easy to clean, heats quickly and better safety with young kids in the house. We love the large element which easily fits out large Dutch ovens. Never had an issue with our pans not getting recognized and the wifi and Chef Connect feature syncs flawlessly with our GE OTR lights and fan. This is a nice feature you normally only find in higher end brands. Overall love the performance! The only negative: The "Precission Cooking" is pretty useless, unless you have a bluetooth probe or niche smart pans which no longer support an app, this feature is useless so don't buy this cooktop if this is something you really want.
