I bought two of these in order to contain our new puppy to the living room when he was out of his playpen. They are stable when staggered, just heavy enough and look great!. Steph. Arkansas. Sat Oct 24 2026

Crafted from durable MDF, this 4-panel pet gate offers a stylish solution to keep your canine companion or furry friends contained while you're away. Not only does it ensure their safety, but it also injects a touch of charm into your living space.

We have a dog that has been struggling with potty training and this does the job to keep our living room rug in tip top condition! Definitely recommend! No assembly required which was also helpful!. Gabrielle. Fri Aug 07 2026

This is currently separating my 3 cats from my mom's 2 cats that all recently moved in. Best gate ever keep them safe and able to see eachother and become familiar with the new kitties. It's easy to put up and going in and out of the gate is a breeze as there is no floor lip from the gate to trip on.. Deena. CA. Sun Oct 11 2026

A metal pet gate provides a secure and flexible solution for creating safe spaces throughout your home. Designed with a pressure-mounted frame, this adjustable cat gate fits openings from 21" to 34" wide and extends in height from 75" to 98". The narrow bar spacing helps keep curious cats safely contained, while the walk-through door allows convenient access for people. Its lightweight plastic accents and locking mechanism add everyday functionality. Plus, we love that this tall pet gate helps create a comfortable environment for pets and their families.

This is likely not what many people are using this skate for, but were doing it to help socialize our wonderful new dog with my two cats, one of them is not very dog savvy. When we tried to do this with a normal baby gate, she kept trying to launch herself over it so of course, he wanted to chase her. This was the most affordable option that I could find for something floor to ceiling that would allow them to become more familiar without the potential danger that an unexpected interaction could have caused. Ive been very happy with it. The socialization is going great, and there is no way that my cat can jump over this. Its also sturdier than I expected as the pup still likes to paw at it from time to time, with no issues so far. Its very easy to open and close. This is a great affordable option!. Katherine. Northwood, NH. Tue Jul 21 2026

Freestanding Metal Dog Gate Panel Count: 2 panels, 4 panels, 6 panels Suitable for: Ideal for use in any area where you need to restrict your pet's movement, including stairs, kitchens, bedrooms, hallways, and other indoor spaces.

Very good quality and very good price!. Clara. Rock Hill, SC. Wed Sep 16 2026

Initial thought was the solid construction. Guess I expected it to be a bit flimsy or wobbly but was very impressed. 2nd impression was of the ease of putting it together & installing it. Went up quickly & smoothly. I would have liked the parts to be marked & instructions a bit clearer but visually, the parts answered any questions I had. It's a basic set up in that regard. We have multiple cats & this is working perfectly. No more zippered screen doors with Velcro periodically replaced from broken zippers. Only issue I have now is wondering why I didn't do this sooner.. Thomas. Whitewater, WI. Wed Oct 07 2026

Is your furry four-legged friend causing chaos around the house while you’re out? Keep them confined to one room with this must-have pet gate! Crafted from manufactured wood, it features four panels with hinges so it can easily fold up for a simple storage solution when not in use. Plus, it has two support legs so it can stand freely without damaging your walls. And with neutral coloring, it won’t clash with your current color palette.

Attractive and Durable, but Needs Securing I've used this gate since December 2023, and it has held up well. It's attractive, heavy, and true to size, and I really appreciate the height. The included support feet are a nice option, although I don't use them. My main complaint is that my dogs can push the gate to the side unless I secure it with carabiners. With that workaround, it serves its purpose. Overall, I'm happy with its appearance and durability, and I prefer it to a typical utilitarian-looking pet gate.. Sims Family Reviews. Kansas. Wed Oct 14 2026

The 71" extra-high gate can prevent cats from jumping over the gate and also prevents children from climbing over it. The space between the fences is very narrow at 1.37 inches, which prevent puppies, kittens or children to squeeze through or get their heads stuck between the fences. And this safety gate is adjustable in width, making it possible to safely divide areas where pets or babies should not enter, such as kitchens, entrances, or staircases. It can be adjusted to fit the space, making it very convenient.

This gate worked extremely well for us when we needed a way to keep our 3 huge dogs (1 is 88 lbs) away from our contractors. Stayed firmly in place without being screwed into the wall and was very secure when you lower the little lever that locks it in place.. Rachel. New Braunfels, TX. Sat Aug 29 2026

Pet playpen for dogs, freestanding 6 panels dog gate with walk-through door and support feet, safety fence, play yard, foldable stairs barrier, puppy exercise pen with wooden construction and wire

Carefully put together! Super easy to use. Gave it four stars because my toddler knocked it over and part of it did break.. Carol. Tucson, AZ. Wed Oct 21 2026

Please measure the size before purchasing in order to buy the appropriate size of the door sill! Note: Don’t cut the zip tie until fully installed! Keeping my energetic pup contained used to be a constant battle, but this 40.55" gate changed everything. I finally have peace of mind knowing my home is secure without drilling holes into my walls. Whether I'm carrying groceries or juggling pet toys, the auto-close feature is a lifesaver. It’s sturdy enough to handle my dog’s excitement while blending perfectly into my space. Installation was a breeze, and it truly feels like a professional upgrade to my daily routine.

Good prices for quality furniture but the return process is hit and miss. Something I sent back without any issue. I got to pick the day I wanted it returned but another item I had to call in and argue about it. The fan was defective and I had to argue to get a full replacement. The pickup day for the old one just got scheduled for me and it was in the middle of when I was moving. Very inconvenient.. Robyn. Las Vegas, NV. Fri Oct 16 2026

So, we had a bit of trouble in the beginning but Wayfair made it right. The first gate was dented pretty badly, we returned it received the second one which was missing the screws needed to put the footers on. Once the screws were received we were able to put it together correctly, I am so glad we got it. Its very heavy duty. The door is easy to openclose for access and its stylish. I would definitely recommend.. Anonymous. Huntley, IL. Mon Aug 17 2026

It works as intended. Difficult to put together and secure in place. I have been using for over a month without any issues. Keeps my cat separated with visibility allowing me to feed them close to each other.. Elise. FL. Wed Oct 21 2026

This Extra Tall Pet Gate comes with an adjustable cat door to let cats pass freely while restricting larger dogs. Constructed from sturdy reinforced metal, it adopts tool-free pressure-mounted installation without drilling or damaging walls. Suitable for doorways, hallways and staircases, this sleek pet barrier matches most home styles and is ideal for multi-pet households.

We love this gate! Great height, the extra door at the bottom is perfect for us letting the “special cat house” upstairs and not the others. Super easy to install. We went with the pressure mounted way and it is tight! No budging on it so all. Very happy with this product!!!. Jessica. Dorsey, IL. Mon Oct 19 2026

This is great. I was looking for a permanent solution to keep the dog from the front door and a way to separate the dogs from my niece when she visits. This is perfect fix. It opens and closes easily with adult human hands, meaning the dogs or my niece can’t open it. It also has a lock, which will be great when my niece is a little older. It is permanently attached to the wall so I don’t have to fumble with a gate, and it isn’t in the way. I am quite happy with this mesh gate.. Anonymous. Fri Jul 10 2026

This freestanding pet gate helps section out a particular room so that your furry friend doesn't get into too much mischief when you're not at home. The frame and posts are made from wood, while black metal rails bring an understated look that blends in with their surroundings. It comes in four separate panels connected by hinges, so it can be extended or folded to fit almost anywhere in your hallway, bedroom, or living area. One of the panels acts as a door with a lock bar installed to keep it even more secure. And the best part? No assembly is required. Note: This gate is made for dogs.

Allows me to open the door and come in and out without being bombarded by three dogs. I like the latch.. Anonymous. Tue Jun 30 2026

Reminder: Please measure before purchasing to ensure proper fit. Important: Do not cut off the rolled strip before installation is complete! As a busy parent and pet owner, I was worried about my toddler crawling onto the stairs or my puppy darting through doorways. This pressure-mounted gate solved it all! Made of thick steel with 2-inch spacing, it securely blocks pets—tested to hold 180 lbs. The 180° two-way door opens automatically: under 90°, it swings shut; at 90°, it stays open. I can easily carry groceries and open it one-handed. The door width is adjustable, ranging from 29 to 109 inches, suitable for every different opening where you need a door sill. The double-lock keeps kids safe but lets adults open quickly. Best part? No drilling—I installed it without damaging walls.

Used this to keep my dogs out of the front seat of my motor home. Couldn’t find anything made for that, but this works fine! I love that it has a gate so I can get in the back easily.. Linda. West Haven, UT. Fri Oct 02 2026

Cat Gate for Doorway, Auto Close Pet Gate with Extension Kits, No Drilling Pressure Mounted Dog Gate for Stairs, Doorways, Kitchen, Hallway

Originally we purchased this 51 tall gate to keep 3 curious cats away from 2, 25lb foster boston terriers. Our smallest cats tries, but cant squeeze through the 1 12 spaces between the bars and the wall. Turns out one of the dogs can jump that high and touch the top of the gate. Thankfully, we keep the dogs contained in a room with a lower floor, adding 8. Lesson-Make sure to get the best height. Only complaint is there is no leverlatch at the bottom to keep the gate swinging in just one direction, like other gates we have. We fear a strong enough pup can ram the bottom open without that latch.. Melanie. PA. Thu Oct 15 2026

Keep your adventurous feline safe with our Extra Tall Cat Gate—designed to block even the most determined jumpers! Its transparent design offers an elegant, minimalist aesthetic that seamlessly blends into any room, providing basic functionality and preserving your home's sightlines. This extra tall pet gate is designed well and setup is mostly straightforward. The specs on the web site claim that this gate will expand up to 42 inches wide and this is simply not true. I was only able to get this to expand as far as 40 inches, see attached photos. When you latch the doors in the center there is only so far you can adjust the left and right sides. I maximized the width and 40 inches is it. Wayfair should update the specs on their web site. Other than that the gate works as intended and I would recommend it as long as you are aware of the 40 inch wide maximum gate dimensions.. Paul. SC. Sun Oct 11 2026

This versatile cat gate stands 55 inches tall—significantly taller than most gates on the market—effectively preventing agile cats from jumping over and providing secure containment. Its ultra-narrow 1.37-inch pipe spacing keeps even small pets safely inside, while the two included extensions allow this tall pet gate extra wide to fit openings from 29.5" to 43". Ideal as dog gates for doorways, stairs, kitchens, or laundry rooms, it creates secure zones in multi-pet households. Installation is tool-free and wall-safe, with no drilling required.

I absolutely love this gate! It’s tall and strong enough for my two big German Shepherds, keeping them safe durning renovation of 1935 home. Absolutely perfect for my needs. We now own 5 of these gates which we use to keep our dog restricted to certain areas of the house. The features we like best are that you can install it on either side of the doorway, the gate swings both ways, and you can install it above the floor, if desired. This works out perfectly for our cats, who are able to slip under the gate (mounted 6 inches above the floor). The dogs are not able to follow. Also, the gate is very sturdy and strong and not an eyesore. Finally, unlike a pressure-mounted gate, there is no bottom support bar to trip over.. Nina. Lawrenceville, GA. Thu Jul 30 2026
