Pressure Mounted Pet Gates

Please measure the size before purchasing in order to buy the appropriate size of the door sill! Note: Don’t cut the zip tie until fully installed! Keeping my energetic pup contained used to be a constant battle, but this 40.55" gate changed everything. I finally have peace of mind knowing my home is secure without drilling holes into my walls. Whether I'm carrying groceries or juggling pet toys, the auto-close feature is a lifesaver. It’s sturdy enough to handle my dog’s excitement while blending perfectly into my space. Installation was a breeze, and it truly feels like a professional upgrade to my daily routine.

Good prices for quality furniture but the return process is hit and miss. Something I sent back without any issue. I got to pick the day I wanted it returned but another item I had to call in and argue about it. The fan was defective and I had to argue to get a full replacement. The pickup day for the old one just got scheduled for me and it was in the middle of when I was moving. Very inconvenient.. Robyn. Las Vegas, NV. Fri Oct 16 2026

A metal pet gate provides a secure and flexible solution for creating safe spaces throughout your home. Designed with a pressure-mounted frame, this adjustable cat gate fits openings from 21" to 34" wide and extends in height from 75" to 98". The narrow bar spacing helps keep curious cats safely contained, while the walk-through door allows convenient access for people. Its lightweight plastic accents and locking mechanism add everyday functionality. Plus, we love that this tall pet gate helps create a comfortable environment for pets and their families.

This is likely not what many people are using this skate for, but were doing it to help socialize our wonderful new dog with my two cats, one of them is not very dog savvy. When we tried to do this with a normal baby gate, she kept trying to launch herself over it so of course, he wanted to chase her. This was the most affordable option that I could find for something floor to ceiling that would allow them to become more familiar without the potential danger that an unexpected interaction could have caused. Ive been very happy with it. The socialization is going great, and there is no way that my cat can jump over this. Its also sturdier than I expected as the pup still likes to paw at it from time to time, with no issues so far. Its very easy to open and close. This is a great affordable option!. Katherine. Northwood, NH. Tue Jul 21 2026

Initial thought was the solid construction. Guess I expected it to be a bit flimsy or wobbly but was very impressed. 2nd impression was of the ease of putting it together & installing it. Went up quickly & smoothly. I would have liked the parts to be marked & instructions a bit clearer but visually, the parts answered any questions I had. It's a basic set up in that regard. We have multiple cats & this is working perfectly. No more zippered screen doors with Velcro periodically replaced from broken zippers. Only issue I have now is wondering why I didn't do this sooner.. Thomas. Whitewater, WI. Wed Oct 07 2026

Reminder: Please measure before purchasing to ensure proper fit. Important: Do not cut off the rolled strip before installation is complete! As a busy parent and pet owner, I was worried about my toddler crawling onto the stairs or my puppy darting through doorways. This pressure-mounted gate solved it all! Made of thick steel with 2-inch spacing, it securely blocks pets—tested to hold 180 lbs. The 180° two-way door opens automatically: under 90°, it swings shut; at 90°, it stays open. I can easily carry groceries and open it one-handed. The door width is adjustable, ranging from 29 to 109 inches, suitable for every different opening where you need a door sill. The double-lock keeps kids safe but lets adults open quickly. Best part? No drilling—I installed it without damaging walls.

Used this to keep my dogs out of the front seat of my motor home. Couldn’t find anything made for that, but this works fine! I love that it has a gate so I can get in the back easily.. Linda. West Haven, UT. Fri Oct 02 2026

With a super-tall 74-inch height, this gate effectively keeps cats and large dogs from jumping over, while the narrow 1.37-inch bar spacing keeps small pets from squeezing through. Designed for everyday ease, it features one-handed operation and swings open 90 degrees in either direction—and closes automatically when opened at an angle of less than 90 degrees. Installation is quick and simple, with dual mounting holes for extra stability, and it fits door frames up to 96.5 inches high. Wall protectors prevent damage to your walls, and the adjustable width (30.3–38.2 inches/30.3-47.2 inches) ensures a snug, custom fit for your doorway. This versatile pet gate is perfect for doorways, stairways, and more—keeping your pets safely contained wherever you need them.

I do love the design of this gate. It’s so tall that my kitties can’t go over, around, through, or under. I even like the way it opens to let me go through, without having to negotiate a bottom rail to trip on. It locks securely and was easily assembled and carefully packed. It’s attractive and exceptionally useful. My only concerns: My doorway was not true. It apparently is a few millimeters wider near the top than bottom, so the center doesn’t meet the same way in the top as bottom. This is not the fault of the gate, so I did not deduct a star. My other concern is that there’s a lot of plastic parts. I wish all the components were made of metal. However, since I had no problem with the metal parts during the month I’ve used it, no deducted star there, either.. Janice. Durant, OK. Wed Jun 24 2026

The 71" extra-high gate can prevent cats from jumping over the gate and also prevents children from climbing over it. The space between the fences is very narrow at 1.37 inches, which prevent puppies, kittens or children to squeeze through or get their heads stuck between the fences. And this safety gate is adjustable in width, making it possible to safely divide areas where pets or babies should not enter, such as kitchens, entrances, or staircases. It can be adjusted to fit the space, making it very convenient.

This gate worked extremely well for us when we needed a way to keep our 3 huge dogs (1 is 88 lbs) away from our contractors. Stayed firmly in place without being screwed into the wall and was very secure when you lower the little lever that locks it in place.. Rachel. New Braunfels, TX. Sat Aug 29 2026

This versatile cat gate stands 55 inches tall—significantly taller than most gates on the market—effectively preventing agile cats from jumping over and providing secure containment. Its ultra-narrow 1.37-inch pipe spacing keeps even small pets safely inside, while the two included extensions allow this tall pet gate extra wide to fit openings from 29.5" to 43". Designed for convenience, this pet gate with cat walk through features a one-handed pass-through door and a lockable small pet opening, along with a low-profile ramp to prevent tripping and accommodate smooth crossings. I absolutely love this gate! It’s tall and strong enough for my two big German Shepherds, keeping them safe durning renovation of 1935 home. No more jumping over pet gate, love the sturdy door that locks easily too. Super easy to install! Versatile in several fits! 5 STARS! I highly recommend this pet gate.. Audrey. Fri Sep 18 2026

I really love this gate. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is I wish it were a little taller. My cats figured out how to jump over it (straight from the ground), so I wish it were a little taller. We added a cardboard topper as a work around.. Jordyn. New Port Richey, FL. Fri Sep 18 2026

This one-piece pet gate features a height that extends from 47.2" to 87" (120 cm to 221 cm). Width Adjustment: Small: 27.5" – 31.5" / Large: 27.5" – 37". It effectively prevents cats and large dogs from jumping over while maintaining ventilation. The gate height is easily adjusted via a pull-out mechanism, making installation quicker and more convenient. It is securely fixed with four support points at the top and bottom, ensuring a sturdy and wobble-free setup. The double-lock latch design eliminates worries about clever cats opening the gate. It is suitable for multiple scenarios such as balconies, passages, staircases, and doorways.

It works as intended. Difficult to put together and secure in place. I have been using for over a month without any issues. Keeps my cat separated with visibility allowing me to feed them close to each other.. Elise. FL. Wed Oct 21 2026

Easy to install. I bought it to block the cat from going into my son’s bathroom (she likes to do her business in his shower drain…. not that that has anything to do with the gate lol) She could easily scale the 4’ fence so I bought this gate. It’s sturdy. Has some weight to it … doesn’t feel cheap. I put it up a year ago and no troubles at all. It was a great purchase.. Kelli. US. Thu Sep 03 2026

This was a PITA to put together but it’s doing the job and it feels pretty sturdy. I was worried my house would look like a prison cell but it actually looks better than I expected!. Shannon. Yardley, PA. Sun Sep 27 2026

This is great. I was looking for a permanent solution to keep the dog from the front door and a way to separate the dogs from my niece when she visits. This is perfect fix. It opens and closes easily with adult human hands, meaning the dogs or my niece can’t open it. It also has a lock, which will be great when my niece is a little older. It is permanently attached to the wall so I don’t have to fumble with a gate, and it isn’t in the way. I am quite happy with this mesh gate.. Anonymous. Fri Jul 10 2026

Lock could use some improvement. Dog was able too push it open. He probably had to work at it but he did get it open.. William Hearney. Browns Mills. Wed Sep 09 2026

I really like this acrylic door because I need to keep a cat in a certain area of my home. The only thing that needs to be resolved by this company is the acrylic is so scratched and I thought it just needed to be cleaned but it has scratches that are horrible on both acrylic panels. Cat Gate for Doorway, Auto Close Pet Gate with Extension Kits, No Drilling Pressure Mounted Dog Gate for Stairs, Doorways, Kitchen, Hallway

Originally we purchased this 51 tall gate to keep 3 curious cats away from 2, 25lb foster boston terriers. Our smallest cats tries, but cant squeeze through the 1 12 spaces between the bars and the wall. Turns out one of the dogs can jump that high and touch the top of the gate. Thankfully, we keep the dogs contained in a room with a lower floor, adding 8. Lesson-Make sure to get the best height. Only complaint is there is no leverlatch at the bottom to keep the gate swinging in just one direction, like other gates we have. We fear a strong enough pup can ram the bottom open without that latch.. Melanie. PA. Thu Oct 15 2026

This extra tall pet gate is designed well and setup is mostly straightforward. The specs on the web site claim that this gate will expand up to 42 inches wide and this is simply not true. I was only able to get this to expand as far as 40 inches, see attached photos. When you latch the doors in the center there is only so far you can adjust the left and right sides. I maximized the width and 40 inches is it. Wayfair should update the specs on their web site. Other than that the gate works as intended and I would recommend it as long as you are aware of the 40 inch wide maximum gate dimensions.. Paul. SC. Sun Oct 11 2026

We needed a divider in our laundry room as the dogs go in and out of their dog door and into their space. It comes with floor secures too but we have tile and I’m not sure about drilling those in at this point. Thankfully my dogs get the list and keep to their side! 29.5-44.1" Wide Pet Gate with Cat Door For Stairs, Dog Gate Indoor For Doorways

This product works great & is pure perfection. Teresa. US. Tue Sep 22 2026

This door is used so that your pets do not go to places where you do not want them to be, such as not going to the street but being able to keep your door open. The instructions for assembling it are not clear at all but there are few pieces to join so you will understand how it is. In my case it cost me too much because the floor where I wanted to put it is uneven so I put it somewhere else. Its not that tall so a tall person would have to bend down. And its divided into two. I would say if you want to leave the top open but it didnt work for me, so I dont understand why the door is divided. Its functional. It looks like glass but its acrylic.. Claudia. Rego Park, NY. Ensure a safer and more focused driving experience with our heavy-duty metal dog car barrier. Designed to securely confine your pets in the cargo area, it effectively prevents them from accessing the front seats, reducing distractions and enhancing road safety. Crafted from high-strength tubular with a sleek black powder-coated finish, this barrier is both durable and stylish. It features a tool-free, tension-mounted installation with rubberized ends to protect your vehicle's interior. Adjustable to fit a wide range of vehicles, it spans 34" to 60" in width and 30" to 50" in height, making it ideal for medium to large breeds. Maintain a clear view of the rear while keeping your pets safely in place during travel.

This is a sturdy barrier, that will help contain your pups in the cargo compartment of your SUV. It is easily assembled, and is pretty quiet during travel. Be sure to measure your cargo compartment to ensure proper sizing. I am convinced a determined dog can get through almost any barrier, but at least this one provides a solid deterrant for pups that are casually considering becoming co-pilots. The main issue with this, and most barriers, is that when assembled at the proper height (our cargo area height is 41”) there is a large (16” in our case) open space at the bottom of the barrier that could easily allow a mid-sized dog to get under the barrier. So if you have a smaller dog, you’ll have to come up with a way to block off that bottom gap to ensure your pup stays where you intend for it to stay. This is our second barrier over the years, and it is far superior to the first we used for our pups.. Christopher. Jarrettsville, MD. Wed Apr 30 2025

Please measure the size before purchasing in order to buy the appropriate size of the door sill! Note: Don’t cut the zip tie until fully installed! Struggling to contain my curious puppy? This 30-inch gate saved me. Its ultra-narrow 1.37-inch bars stopped my mini Dachshund from slipping through, while the vertical design frustrated my climbing cat. I installed it without drilling—just tightened the knobs, and it held strong against my 50-lb Lab’s zoomies. The double-lock latch is genius: nobreaksm carrying groceries. It expanded to fit my uneven hallway, and the auto-close door silenced my worries. Even my toddler’s fingers are safe!

I really like my new cat gate! I like it has two height adjustments, 36” and 74”. The clear feature looks nicer than having one with bars. It is sturdy and was easy to put together.
