Made very well!! Made a shade for the horses since it was going to be 105 all week. Material is thick and the cable running through it is nice because you don’t have to worry about the material ripping like a normal shade cloth. Hardware is nice and heavy. Anonymous. Tue Aug 04 2026

Perfect shade sail for keeping our chickens covered and cooler during the summer heat. You do have to buy the hooksinstallation kit separately and we are waiting for that to arrive so we can properly hang it up. Currently we are using screws and it is still working. We had some bad weather the other day and it held up great! Overall, we are very happy!. Erin. US. Sat Jul 04 2026

Enjoy stylish sun protection with this durable shade sail. Designed to resist fading, mold, mildew, and weather, this sail provides reliable shade year-round. It' s perfect for creating comfortable outdoor spaces.

It's great quality and the color matches, however I didn't measure correctly and ordered a size too small. Unfortunately it won't work for the area we need but that is no fault of my own. Re-ordered same brand just a bigger size.. Candace. Saint Petersburg, FL. Tue Jun 02 2026

I needed some shade for the car with the heat this year. I have purchased shade sails from WAYFAIR in past years. The awning arrived intact and we are in the process of completing this project: painting posts with tops and using dacron line with clips we can remove it for tropical storms/hurricanes. The color and fabric match what I have for other awning/shade sails. Thank-you.. Karen. Avon Park, FL. Tue Jun 30 2026

This shade sail was exactly what we were looking for. It helps reduce the afternoon heat, looks beautiful overhead, and gives our patio a more inviting feel. The material feels sturdy, and it has held up well since we installed it.. Gracie. Pasco, WA. Tue Jul 21 2026

Beautiful and great price great quality and just is perfect for my pool deck always a pleasure shopping with Mayfair. Diane. NY. Thu Jul 16 2026

The material is lightweight but also provides a lot of shade and seems to be sturdy. The wrinkles have smoothed out, and the shade is now very nice in appearance. The gray color is neutral and pleasant. Very glad we ordered this one.. Reta. The Colony, TX. Wed Sep 23 2026

This shade sail is made of a thick but flexible material that should provide just the right amount of protection from the sun without being a total "sunblock" (or completely waterproof) and the reinforced attachment points on the sail seem sufficiently strong. I haven't yet installed it, but the included kit appears to be very comparable to the separate installation kit I ordered just in case the included kit was flimsier or more difficult to use. This particular brand of sail offered a lot of different size options, which is ideal if you are looking for a sail to fit a space with unequal distances between the triangle points. The sail I ordered measures 20' x 20' x 28.3'. it came with a installation hardware kit but I can't yet comment on whether the hardware kit works well. I also ordered another hardware kit in case I needed a different installation option than the one included. Unfortunately, Wayfair said it delivered both when I never received the additional hardware kit. After waiting 3 days to see if there was a problem with how the item was scanned, I have reported the missing delivery and hope that I will receive that other installation kit so that I can choose which kit will work better for installing the sai.. this is our fourth Sun Shade Sail and we love them! All three are still as new as the day we bought them so we added a fourth and I just now ordered a fifth. All different sizes. They look great, block the sun and just add decorating to the outside!. Barbara. Litchfield, IL. Wed Jul 08 2026

This waterproof triangle shade sail is a stylish all-weather outdoor shelter for your patio, backyard, poolside and garden. Very well made, quality hardware, great price!. Sherri. Huntingburg, IN. Thu Jun 13 2024

Super quick delivery! Easy to set up! Sturdy and stable, and can take the wind well! Blocks the sun perfectly as well. Great quality and the color is very pretty. Just what we were looking for! 1010 recommend!. Linnea. Austin, TX. Mon Sep 28 2026

Would have been excellent had I measured correctly. I chose the 16x18 and need a 16x20 or 16x22. The harder you pull the corner cables in a diagonal direction, the more the sail cinches along the edges like a drawstring and the more the sail sags in the center. For the sail to be fully taut when hanging, it either needs to be within a foot or so to the post you’re securing it to or the line of pull needs to be perfectly aligned with the edges of the sail. I did leave it hanging like a curtain for a couple days when I realized there was no way I was going to get to hang properly. It absolutely does its job at shading and cooling an area significantly. Highly recommend. Just make sure to accurately measure and to not forget that measuring horizontally along the ground will underestimate the actual distance between the two attachment points if one is significantly higher than the other.. Why didnt I buy this shade sail earlier I cannot believe how much it has cooled our pool and how much more comfortable we are when we are outside. My 26 yr-old son even commented about how surprised he was when he got in the water today to escape the 96 degree temperature. He was surprised that the water felt cool instead of like a sauna! This is one of my favorite Wayfair purchases ever! Our neighbors came over to see about getting one for their pool after seeing ours. We LOVE this! It’s 4 years old and looks just as good as the day we got it! No fading! Gorgeous. Kristi. Ellerbe, NC. Thu Aug 06 2026

This shade sail is perfect for lowering the temperature in the pool. The water was 94° and not conducive to swimming. The day the shade sail was installed, the water temperature dropped to a refreshing 84° with the same high temperature in the high 90s.The pool can now be enjoyed all day. With UV indexes high every day here in Georgia (could not get the address listed to change) a portion of the pool is shaded all day. With the noted change in water temperature, another shade sail was ordered to block the sun from patio doors facing SW. That will be added soon and a review forthcoming.. Barbara. Pine Bluff, AR. Nicely made sail. I just wish it would let water through it so when it rains, it does not weigh it down. Otherwise it’s great!. Marthaddad. Purvis, MS. Thu Sep 04 2025

Shady ..the good kind. We had two sails to compare, the material of this one is heavier intertwined and double stitched which I am hoping to last better. The hardware came with it which is a plus but it’s smaller than the kind you can purchase by itself on Wayfair. (I took a pic to compare. )As for keeping it tight, you need the additional hardware they recommended which I took a picture of them from their instruction manual.. Mckay. American Fork, UT.
