We had some bad weather the other day and it held up great! Overall, we are very happy!. Erin. US. Sat Jul 04 2026

I needed some shade for the car with the heat this year. I have purchased shade sails from WAYFAIR in past years. The awning arrived intact and we are in the process of completing this project: painting posts with tops and using dacron line with clips we can remove it for tropical storms/hurricanes. The color and fabric match what I have for other awning/shade sails. Thank-you.. Karen. Avon Park, FL. Tue Jun 30 2026

Perfect for providing shade for the kids outdoor play equipment in the Texas heat and sun!!. Sharon. Sun Oct 04 2026

The material is lightweight but also provides a lot of shade and seems to be sturdy. The wrinkles have smoothed out, and the shade is now very nice in appearance. The gray color is neutral and pleasant. Very glad we ordered this one.. Reta. The Colony, TX. Wed Sep 23 2026

This waterproof rectangle shade sail creates a comfortable covered area for patios, gardens, pergolas, pools, and other outdoor living spaces. Made from durable fabric with a water-resistant layer, it helps provide shade while allowing rainwater to run off when installed at the recommended slope. Concave edges help maintain fabric tension and reduce sagging, making the sail a practical way to extend usable outdoor space for everyday relaxation.

This shade sail is made of a thick but flexible material that should provide just the right amount of protection from the sun without being a total "sunblock" (or completely waterproof) and the reinforced attachment points on the sail seem sufficiently strong. I haven't yet installed it, but the included kit appears to be very comparable to the separate installation kit I ordered just in case the included kit was flimsier or more difficult to use. This particular brand of sail offered a lot of different size options, which is ideal if you are looking for a sail to fit a space with unequal distances between the triangle points. The sail I ordered measures 20' x 20' x 28.3'. it came with a installation hardware kit but I can't yet comment on whether the hardware kit works well. I also ordered another hardware kit in case I needed a different installation option than the one included. Unfortunately, Wayfair said it delivered both when I never received the additional hardware kit. After waiting 3 days to see if there was a problem with how the item was scanned, I have reported the missing delivery and hope that I will receive that other installation kit so that I can choose which kit will work better for installing the sai.. Perfect for the hot summer days in Coastal SC. This rectangle Royal Shade measuring 18 x 24 ft covers a large sitting space in our yard and more! We are thrilled with the ease of hanging. Mind you, we hung it out a few days to allow it to stretch out before really placing it where we wanted it. Do hang on an angle so water will run off...we imagine we will still have to push up the center to drain off if a heavy rain, but we haven't had that yet. The lights we hung around the perimeter have helped create an "outdoor room!" Would highly recommend. The product material is HEAVY DUTY and seems extremely durable.. Jennifer. Bluffton, SC. Love this for our community pool. We started with one and now have two in varied shades of blue. It really brightens the area and everyone loves the colors and a bit of shade in the hot florida sun!. Barbara. Maitland, FL. Sat Nov 01 2025

Approximate how much area you want to shade. Triangle, square, or rectangle depends on the number of existing poles, roofs, trees, concrete walls, etc. Use cable wires to connect the shade sail to hardware if necessary. If you don’t use cable wires, keep a 0.5 - 2 ft space between D rings and poles to give space for the hardware kits that come with adjustable turnbuckles to tighten & create tension.

Already received two flags and placed them at our marina. Looks great!. Anonymous. Wed Jun 24 2026

Love the bright color! It’s the perfect size. Came with all the hardware needed to hang, just waiting for the weather to cooperate. It’s been windy here but this sail matches my porch furniture perfectly and will make a great sun shade for my porch. I would recommend and priced great! Great quality!. Ersula. US. Wed May 06 2026

This was an experience. First, I couldn’t clear the utility lines at my house but my friend’s deck was perfect. We started out confident, but it didn’t last. The wrenching apparatus was our downfall. In the end we decided to forgo the winch process and hung it only using the locking mechanisms. The sail is great. It feels strong yet pliable and it’s the perfect shade of summer red. I have zero knowledge of sails so we’re hopeful. It’s not as taut as we would like, but it’s a work in progress.. Carolyn. Monroe, LA. Fri May 08 2026
