Why didnt I buy this shade sail earlier I cannot believe how much it has cooled our pool and how much more comfortable we are when we are outside. My 26 yr-old son even commented about how surprised he was when he got in the water today to escape the 96 degree temperature. He was surprised that the water felt cool instead of like a sauna! We got 2 different kinds of shades that were made with different material. This one is awesome. We got it to cover our back porch to help keep kids cool during the summer and to protect our patio furniture. We are impressed with the quality. Shady ..the good kind. We had two sails to compare, the material of this one is heavier intertwined and double stitched which I am hoping to last better. The hardware came with it which is a plus but it’s smaller than the kind you can purchase by itself on Wayfair. This shade sail is perfect for lowering the temperature in the pool. The water was 94° and not conducive to swimming. The day the shade sail was installed, the water temperature dropped to a refreshing 84° with the same high temperature in the high 90s.The pool can now be enjoyed all day. With UV indexes high every day here in Georgia (could not get the address listed to change) a portion of the pool is shaded all day. With the noted change in water temperature, another shade sail was ordered to block the sun from patio doors facing SW. That will be added soon and a review forthcoming.. Barbara. Pine Bluff, AR.
