Why didnt I buy this shade sail earlier I cannot believe how much it has cooled our pool and how much more comfortable we are when we are outside. My 26 yr-old son even commented about how surprised he was when he got in the water today to escape the 96 degree temperature. He was surprised that the water felt cool instead of like a sauna! this is a replacement for an older shade. Found the eyelets to be superior in this Royal unit but have not had time to install but from inspection the stitching is the key. These are amazing! Much better quality than I thought they would be. They are also quite large, so I only needed 2 to cover a large deck, and they were placed in an overlap position. This shade sail is perfect for lowering the temperature in the pool. The water was 94° and not conducive to swimming. The day the shade sail was installed, the water temperature dropped to a refreshing 84° with the same high temperature in the high 90s.The pool can now be enjoyed all day. With UV indexes high every day here in Georgia (could not get the address listed to change) a portion of the pool is shaded all day. So I had the idea to use this as a privacy screen for my balcony because most products marketed as privacy screens are way too sheer. This is definitely opaque, you can’t see anything through it! The product I bought as 12ftx12ft arrived as 9.5ftx9.5ft, they said they sent it wrong and they would send a new one, and it arrived again in 9.5ftx9.5ft dimensions. I wrote it again and despite all my warnings, it was again the wrong size, 9.5ftx9.5ft. I did not receive the correct product I paid for!
