this is a replacement for an older shade. Found the eyelets to be superior in this Royal unit but have not had time to install but from inspection the stitching is the key. Excellent heavy duty shade sail!. The continuous wire and heavy duty corner brackets make it vey strong and will no doubt last. Why didnt I buy this shade sail earlier I cannot believe how much it has cooled our pool and how much more comfortable we are when we are outside. My 26 yr-old son even commented about how surprised he was when he got in the water today to escape the 96 degree temperature. He was surprised that the water felt cool instead of like a sauna! Waterproof! Durable, we have several in different colors and have lasted over 3 summers without fading or Tearing and we live only 5 miles off the beach with sometimes high wind and hurricane times! That’s saying a lot;) we extended ours from roof to our deck and it stands as our sheltered in area!! Can sit under it during rain and all! Don’t even need to shelter our deck now! This shade sail is perfect for lowering the temperature in the pool. The water was 94° and not conducive to swimming. The day the shade sail was installed, the water temperature dropped to a refreshing 84° with the same high temperature in the high 90s.The pool can now be enjoyed all day. With UV indexes high every day here in Georgia (could not get the address listed to change) a portion of the pool is shaded all day.
