Why didnt I buy this shade sail earlier I cannot believe how much it has cooled our pool and how much more comfortable we are when we are outside. My 26 yr-old son even commented about how surprised he was when he got in the water today to escape the 96 degree temperature. He was surprised that the water felt cool instead of like a sauna! This is one of my favorite Wayfair purchases ever! Our neighbors came over to see about getting one for their pool after seeing ours. We LOVE this! It’s 4 years old and looks just as good as the day we got it! No fading! Gorgeous. Kristi. Ellerbe, NC. Thu Aug 06 2026

a slight bit of a "plastic" look, but have used it for years now as roof to pergola and it's held up quite well. You might want to layer up two if you want serious sun protection - a single layer lets quite a bit of light through. I found two layered together ideal at least for my purposes and preferences. The sunshade cloth/shade panel is made of anti-ultraviolet material, which is light and durable. 90% shading rate, mesh design, breathable, more suitable for blocking sunlight and heat. Multi-purpose application, can be used in pergola, patio cover, greenhouse, garden plants, swimming pool, balcony, kennel and other areas where you want to create comfortable shade.

Useful product. I like the grommets all the way around for secured tie-down. Bought the 10x10 to update an older shade frame that lost its previous canopy from a winter storm. This comes with elastic bungee tie straps (though not enough for all grommets) I also used zip ties for extra security. Price reasonable compared to other online retailers.. Shirley. Red Lion, PA. This shade sail is perfect for lowering the temperature in the pool. The water was 94° and not conducive to swimming. The day the shade sail was installed, the water temperature dropped to a refreshing 84° with the same high temperature in the high 90s.The pool can now be enjoyed all day. With UV indexes high every day here in Georgia (could not get the address listed to change) a portion of the pool is shaded all day. With the noted change in water temperature, another shade sail was ordered to block the sun from patio doors facing SW. That will be added soon and a review forthcoming.. Barbara. Pine Bluff, AR. Waterproof! Durable, we have several in different colors and have lasted over 3 summers without fading or Tearing and we live only 5 miles off the beach with sometimes high wind and hurricane times! We got it to cover our back porch to help keep kids cool during the summer and to protect our patio furniture. We are impressed with the quality.
