I purchased these pendants on the recommendation of a Havenly designer, and I couldn’t be happier with them. I never imagined I could replace the lights over my large kitchen island so affordably, but these pendants completely transformed the space. My previous lights were tiny, underwhelming pendants, and these feel substantial, stylish, and perfectly scaled for a big island. I had an electrician handle the installation to ensure all three hung at exactly the same height, especially since I’m working with a vaulted ceiling that’s angled, and the result looks seamless. One tip: have Windex wipes on hand during assembly. The clear glass version gets dust and fingerprints inside and out very easily, and if you skip cleaning the inside, the lights can look dingy even if the exterior is spotless. The glass balls are large and beautiful, but also very fragile. One of mine arrived broken, but Wayfair’s customer service was excellent and replaced it quickly without any hassle. Overall, these pendants are stunning and make a real statement over the island. They feel high-end and designer-approved, yet don’t break the bank. I bough two of these 10” lights. They are beautiful. Install was tricky because the integrated LED has a box that needs to fit inside your ceiling. We have remodel boxes in the ceiling and there wasn’t a lot of room. Also the entire light including globe needs to be assembled before you hang it with makes it a two person job so you don’t break the globe during install. We used the box it came in to hold the light during install just to be safe. While shopping I noticed the canopy was listed at 2” which made no sense. I reached out to wayfair and they reached out to the manufacturer and returned with an answer of 4.75. The glass shade is not too big or too small. It was a fairly easy installation, but there was one problem. The base of the light that covers the plate where it hangs is not big enough.
