This took my husband about 45min to install and we absolutely love it! It gives off modern country vibes. It is more of a white color with almost the slightest brown undertone built within. The black cord that it hangs from is exactly that- a black cord. It doesn’t bother me much but I thought it was going to be a solid rod vs cord. It was indeed not a black solid rod. Love the antiqued brass. Since we have black cabinet handles and fixtures, I didn't want anything to drastically bright and these are perfect. Just added a little pop of color and class without it being way too much. The Carmeline 1 pendant had a chain at the top near the ceiling (that you had to tread the yellow wire and silver cable through) that totally took away from the modern look! That chain did not show in any of the pictures but it was the part that made it work with a sloped ceiling. I had to buy a seperate sloped ceiling adapter (that might not be the same color) to give it that modern look portrayed in the pictures.
