Perfect. Plenty of light over the dining room table. I used the shorter length threaded bar. I assembled it myself. 78 year old grandma. I used both the bishop hooks and the silver hooks because I wanted the cord to be somewhat snug to the ceiling. I like that I can use the diffuser or not. This took my husband about 45min to install and we absolutely love it! It gives off modern country vibes. It is more of a white color with almost the slightest brown undertone built within. The black cord that it hangs from is exactly that- a black cord. It doesn’t bother me much but I thought it was going to be a solid rod vs cord. It was indeed not a black solid rod. The Carmeline 1 pendant had a chain at the top near the ceiling (that you had to tread the yellow wire and silver cable through) that totally took away from the modern look! That chain did not show in any of the pictures but it was the part that made it work with a sloped ceiling. I had to buy a seperate sloped ceiling adapter (that might not be the same color) to give it that modern look portrayed in the pictures.
