It looks exactly as pictured, and the quality seems pretty good. The shade has gold tinting on the inside and it isn't super thin. The black finish on the outside is consistent and smooth. I like the brass colored details, but I do tink they're a little bit too bright of a yellow to look realistic. My biggest complaint is the wire. I know that this is intended to be hung with some of the long extension poles so the cable has to be long to accommodate, but if you want to use a shorter length of hanging rod you're going to have to cut and strip the cable to a better length. These lights are very well made, constructed of glass and metal, not plastic. And everything needed for installation comes with them. There are enough of the metal rods to extend these as much as you need to. They are elegant, well designed and functional. They hold the standard bulb size, which are not included.
