This piece is unbelievably beautiful. The shade is like a little piece of artwork. I included a picture of the original shade that came with my house so that you can see the size difference. Everything was already threaded the only thing that I think could be a problem is if you wanted to shorten the length of the pendant light, you have to thread everything to take out the centerpiece of the post. But it is this beautiful, nickel finish that looks both silver and gold in the light And this beautiful hombre and crackle finish to the lampshade itself. These finally did the trick after trying twice to get another 3 light kitchen island fixture. They’re very pretty and even though the size is not correct in the description where they note the shades are 5” x 5” and were instead 7.5” long, they still look great. The handy service was also excellent. The installer troubled shoot through the installation and fixed problem he encountered. Also he was very knowledgeable. Very happy with my purchase.
