It’s super easy to put the feet on by hand, and having a rubber mallet to connect the couch connectors together is very helpful. Seems to be decent quality material and cushioning. The brown color is more like a sand color and blends really nicely with our light gray walls, giving the room a more warm feeling than our previous black pleather sectional. We usually don’t allow our dogs on the furniture and our kids are all grown, but we shall see how it holds up with our grandkids over the years! We love the chair. It was easy to put together and fits well within the area we had wanted to place it. We anchored it by a wall since the sides do not connect together. I would say if you were using this without a wall bracing it, you may find that it is not very supportive but for us, we have it within a corner nook in our bedroom.
