In our house, we’ve been through about a dozen different office chairs (thanks to working from home and teenagers who sit in theirs for both homework and gaming). We’ve tried a number of different brands of office and gaming chairs at different price points. And unfortunately, we were disappointed in this chair for the price. The chair looked nice, had a comfortable but breathable mesh seat, and claimed to have all the features we tend to look for: adjustable seat height, arm height, headrest, and lumbar support. The foot rest looked like a nice bonus. But once we put the chair together, we found we could not make the seat height or lumbar support adjust. It isn’t clear whether the hydraulic switches were malfunctioning, but if so, the manufacturer may be able to provide support or a replacement and fix the issue. The headrest only moved a small amount to adjust it, and this was not controlled by the same switches. It was also very tough to move up and down to the right height. The footrest was also difficult to pull out to use. The star-shaped base was plastic and came with some scuffs on it. I loved that the chair came with a good assembly manual. However, some steps were lacking in detail and were very small to try to see.. Emily. Snohomish, WA. Mon Jun 22 2026

More than just a seat, it offers a gentle moment of comfort in your everyday life.

Super easy to set up and very comfortable once adjusted properly. The foam pieces are much denser and nicer than I expected! The material the footrest is wrapped in is a little flimsyodd (it’s not a solid piece of material like I expected) but that’s a minor thing unless it proves useless. I spent so much time looking for the perfect chair and am hoping this really could be it! Great value for money so far. And the color is just perfect. Natalie. Fri Aug 28 2026

First, it's pretty. Since I work at home, it's nice to not have a boring office chair in my house. I admit that my assistant put it together, (sounds bougier than it is, she loves doing this kind of this and asked if she could.) She said it was super easy. I like the adjustment capabilities. I can get it to exactly how I need it to work sitting upright or in a virtual meeting etc. The best part is when I want to chill on a call or because I'm about to pull my hair out, I can recline and use the footrest. The lumbar is phenomenal. I've had it only a few weeks, but I can't think of one thing I would change except to have gotten it sooner.. Paula. Grosse Pointe Woods, MI. Sat Jul 25 2026

On the path to pursuing an outstanding office experience, this luxurious office chair will be your ideal choice and redefine your comfort at work.

This chair is nice real leather and seems to be a good quality, not likely to start peeling quickly. The seat is nice and wide and constructed well. It isn't the most cushioned on the bottom, but good enough for this style of chair. The bolts that screwed in the sides of the cushions for the back were somewhat temperamental to get in the right angle since they were counter sunk in the hole, especially considering the hole in the leather was too small.. Brittany. Wooster, OH. Fri Dec 27 2024

I ended up putting this chair in my workshop, and it honestly fits the space perfectly. I like keeping everything in there nice, clean, organized, and comfortable, so I wanted a chair that would look just as good as the rest of the setup This one absolutely delivered. The design is very modern and unique, and the black genuine leather gives it a really clean and premium appearance. Assembly was very simple and took me about 10 minutes. Everything went together easily, and once it was set up, the chair felt solid and well made right away. The comfort is probably one of my favorite things about it. The seat has plenty of room, the back provides nice support, and the wide armrests make it easy to sit comfortably for longer periods of time. I also really like being able to adjust the seat height and seat depth because it makes it much easier to get the chair positioned exactly how I want it. The reclining and tilt function is another great feature when I want to lean back and relax for a few minutes. The aluminum base is another detail Ireally appreciate. It gives the chair a sturdy and substantial feel while matching the modern design perfectly. The swivel and casters make it easy to move around my workshop when I need to reach something nearby without constantly getting up. What really makes this chair stand out is the combination of comfort and style. A lot of comfortable chairs can look bulky or too traditional, but this one has a much more refined and minimalistic appearance, It almost looks like a piece of modern furniture rather than just an office chair. It has been a fabulous addition to my workshop, and I am extremely happy with how it looks and feels in the space.. Nestor. Westmoreland City, PA. Tue Sep 08 2026

The Amia chair has a secret. Beneath the Amia chair's upholstery, inside its sleek backrest, there's a unique comfort system called live lumbar™ technology. You may not see it, but you'll certainly feel it. As you sit in the chair an adjustable live lumbar™ zone flexes with your every move for consistent ergonomic support for your lower back, hour after hour, day after day. The Amia chair was designed by Steelcase in collaboration with industrial designer, Thomas Overthin of IDEO.

I LOVE my navy and silver task chair. The upholstery is perfect; very smooth for my sensitive skin. I cannot believe how lucky I am to have this ergonomic task chair with all the bells and whistles that work so easily. The lumbar feels so good on my back. The arms are so flexible to move any which way I need them to. The casters are perfect for my hardwood floor; I can flip from one area of my desk to the other freely. It was so easy to take the well-protected chair out of the packaging. It is a fantastic buy. The entire experience was exceptional and I am thrilled. Thank you Wayfair for selling Steelcase and thank you Steelcase for still being the #1 manufacturer of task chairs after all these many years! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!. Carolishca. Lake Worth, FL. Criss Cross Legged Office Chair with Flip-Up Back Built-In Dynamic Airbag Lumbar Support, Wide Seat Desk Chair with Flip-Up and Adjustable Arms and Height with Wheels, Modern Cross-Leg Chair for Home Office

I’m really liking my chair the added cushion on the back is comfortable but can be moved depending on your preferences. You need to be a bit gentle with the foot rest but overall it does the job. I got the green color and it’s very pretty.. Lauren. Indianapolis, IN. Wed Sep 30 2026

Create a more adaptable workspace with a task chair designed for long study sessions, focused workdays, and daily desk routines. The adjustable back and lumbar area help you fine-tune support as you move from typing to reading, while the seat depth and reclining back let you shift positions with ease. 3D armrests and a rolling base add practical flexibility, bringing a cleaner, more comfortable setup to a home office, study corner, or shared work area without feeling overly bulky.

Way better than I expected, sturdy and very comfortable over longer use. Compares favourably to similarly priced chairs I got in the past from Wayfair. It is grey though for sure…. Anonymous. Sun Aug 25 2024

This swivel office chair provides exceptional seating for everyone, ensuring the perfect balance of ergonomic comfort and optimal support for each person. It's great for front offices, executive suites, at-home work desks, and dorm rooms and also makes for the perfect gaming chair for online gamers and video game testers. The ventilated high mesh back with integrated lumbar support prevents overheating and promotes better posture, while the ultra-padded, contoured waterfall seat and convenient 3D arms keep you in comfort even during the longest of work days. The highly customizable chair features a pneumatic height adjustable seat that swivels 360 degrees.

This is a nice chair, but the assembly process was definitely NOT nice. The screw holes connecting the armrests were crooked, forcing the screws to go in crooked. I wrestled with those for hours. The back required jujitsu-type maneuvering, and the amount of time it took to put this together was slightly ridiculous. That said, once it was all done, it turned out to be a comfortable chair. I just wish the assembly was easier.. Kristin. Fresno, TX. Sun Apr 06 2025
