The best thing to have on hand was a hand drill and some a hex bit set for this. The instructions are super (at least to me) took me 15-20 mins (I had to troubleshooting I missed a step). The chair feels super comfortable. I love that I can adjust the back as I wish and it locks into place. I have a bigger lower half 48” and I fit comfortably no squeezing and lots of thigh space. The material feels like leather, and the stitching is solid. This was a good investment my other chair (viral criss cross chair) was killing me. I cant wait to game and watch my movies this fall. This chair is as pictured, pretty and pink! The aesthetic is more casual than the wing back chair that it’s replacing, but it’s so much more comfortable. I can sit for hours (with the occasional stand and stretch of course) without back or leg pain. It’s a gaming chair so it’s made for sitting relaxing. The instructions to attach the armrests and the footrest were missing but it was easy to figure out by looking at the illustrations. Bought this chair for my 13 year old son because we kept buying gaming chairs and they weren’t lasting. This chair was a pain to put together some screws didn’t align in the back. You definitely need 2 people to put it together. Also didn’t realize it was a velvet type material but it’s soft and comfortable. The foot rest is a little awkward in the front and my son wasn’t enthused, but once we put this together and saw the foot rest could second as a table on the side due to the rotating mechanics, we were so happy. The chair arrived as scheduled, was easy to assemble. To be fair I've done probably 50 different chairs due to working in Hotels. The chair looks great and is fairly comfortable. There are a few things to note and consider that are not deficiencies. It is a large chair, and heavy duty. Because of this the lowest height is my standard setting, at this height, the arms will not go under my desk which has a drawer...probably 2" too high. It does not have any lumbar adjustment, no problem, just a note and for those wondering how thick the PU leather is, the answer is not very. If you have cats and they are allowed near this chair, di not expect it to remain nice. I had a claw mark the first day and covered it with a blanket...that helps but does not stop it. Lastly, the foot rest is ok, I don't love the style/design but it's functional. Also. How flat does it lay, it is not flat but it is a decent recline that one could nap in. You can lock it in anyplace on the recline. The controls are a little bit out of reach but ok. I love the style of the arms, but wish they fit under tge desk.. Dan. NC. Wed Mar 18 2026
