The best thing to have on hand was a hand drill and some a hex bit set for this. The instructions are super (at least to me) took me 15-20 mins (I had to troubleshooting I missed a step). The chair feels super comfortable. I love that I can adjust the back as I wish and it locks into place. I have a bigger lower half 48” and I fit comfortably no squeezing and lots of thigh space. The material feels like leather, and the stitching is solid. This was a good investment my other chair (viral criss cross chair) was killing me. I cant wait to game and watch my movies this fall. It was a great buy, especially for the price compared to other options. It was easy to put together and there are English instructions! The instructions to attach the armrests and the footrest were missing but it was easy to figure out by looking at the illustrations. Bought this chair for my 13 year old son because we kept buying gaming chairs and they weren’t lasting. This chair was a pain to put together some screws didn’t align in the back. You definitely need 2 people to put it together. Also didn’t realize it was a velvet type material but it’s soft and comfortable. The foot rest is a little awkward in the front and my son wasn’t enthused, but once we put this together and saw the foot rest could second as a table on the side due to the rotating mechanics, we were so happy.
