Hubbardton Forge Table Lamps

By definition, it's not possible to almost get to infinity. But the name for our table lamp may come from the gracefully sweeping curves of hand-forged steel that almost create the infinity symbol. Or the fact that looking at the beautiful craftsmanship never gets old.

This is one sturdy and attractive desk lamp. The Dark Smoke color looks a bit more bronze than smoky, but it'll look fine on my new desk. The dimmer switch is a wonderful feature. A work of art in its own right, our Gallery table lamp exhibits three twists of forged steel that flow from pedestal to shade, wrapping around the lamp tube along the way. A on-off switch graces the teardrop shaped base directly behind the glass. Crafted by the metal virtuosos at Hubbardton Forge in Vermont, each piece is unique.

Brindille meets steel with multi-faceted "twigs" forged from red-hot round bar stock hammered for texture and shape by our Vermont artisans. The steel sculptures' lean provides a striking counterpoint to the steel base bar's vertical line.

That gives the ability to walk around the piece to get a full grasp of the shapes created by the hand-forged steel pieces when they join and part throughout this design. Chain-pulls for its two medium-base bulbs add function with style.

The Brindille Ring Lamp's nature-inspired artistry is reminiscent of Patrick Dougherty’s stickwork seen in nearby Middlebury VT. Each steel twig is hand-crafted and hammered creating the Brindille’s circular ring. It can be placed on a console table, floor area, or in a large wall alcove, or more.
