i’m so glad i spotted this marbled take on a classic shape — it adds so much character to a neglected corner. the bulb that came with the lamp wasn’t anything special, and it was WAY too bright for an ambient light, so i swapped it out for a 2.5w amber LED. combined with the warm marbling of the glass, the effect is like a soothing candle. the switch is on the cord, a couple feet from the lamp, so i had to figure out how to hide that length while leaving the switch accessible. would def purchase again. would be cute at a bedside, too, as a matching lil pair.. I love this lamp! I did take one star away due to the fact that the description doesn’t specifically mention what kind of bulb it requires. As other buyers have mentioned in their reviews, Wayfair’s suggestions WILL be the wrong kind of bulb so don’t make the same mistake they did & buy them with your order. You need a very specific kind & that is one with a standard E26 base, but it must be a G45 globe bulb. I had to buy one online.
