The travertine base on this lamp is quite nice looking, and the shade is high quality. We purchased two of them for our space. One thing to note is that the travertine shades are slightly different between the two units. This was not a huge deal for us, but it is something to be aware of if you are looking for a perfect 1:1 match. Wonderful aesthetic, I love the easy switches to flip the main light and the nightlight on and off. It would be great of the smaller nightlight was also changeable so you could add your own bulb (maybe an RGB LED bulb so you could have some fun effects), but you can keep it off independently which is a plus. Mine are blue but I absolutely love these lamps. They’re perfect for my guest room. They are solid and sturdy. The color is vibrant and the glossy finish is very well done. I love the charger ports being built in and my mom said how nice it was for her to be able to charge her phone easily without having to reach behind the nightstand to find the plug.
