I ordered these lamps to replace the ones that were on our bedside tables and I love them! What I liked about these lamps was that they are smaller in bulk and would give us more space back for all the things we need to plug in at night. I also liked that they operate by touch to turn on/off. It's so simple now. The shade is white, so when the light is on, it brightens the room more. The lamps came with light bulbs saving an extra order or a trip to the store to buy them. That was a plus to me. At first I was concerned that the base was small and the lamp might tip over because it could be top heavy, but this isn't the case at all.
