However, the welds and pre-drilled holes are not straight, so we had to force some pieces to fit, and had to bend the metal frame that supports the shelves because it was welded crooked and the shelves weren’t level. I am a seasoned furniture assembler and was prepared for some frustration based on other people’s comments, but this was one of the easiest assemblies I have ever done! Yes, it takes a long time to build by yourself, but the instructions were excellent and all the parts were properly labeled, and all the screw holes lined up beautifully! I only cussed once when I realized I didn’t have the tiny screw holes facing the back on the very top shelf of the headboard. But that was a simple fix of just flipping it around, no biggie. The LED lights are a nice touch, not so sure about the flashing modes, but I suppose if you are listening to music it might be fun. The drawer assembly is more sturdy than others I have put together and the wheels roll smoothly. Decent sized drawers for storage, but not huge. I was worried about the cabinet mechanism being a little iffy, but it has very strong springs that seem to work nicely. Nice storage area inside and easily accessible. While it did take some time to put together, the instructions were straightforward and everything fit together properly. The storage drawers are one of my favorite features.
