California King Storage Beds

This upholstered platform bed combines streamlined style with smart storage to bring a modern feel to your space. It's crafted with a solid and engineered wood frame, and it rests on short feet for a clean, low profile. The linen upholstery is filled with foam, offering a padded surface across the tufted headboard. Four underbed drawers slide out smoothly, making it easy to stash spare sheets, clothing, or blankets right under your mattress. Plus, a built-in slat kit provides reliable support so there's no box spring required.

Great looking bed frame for the price. Love the orange linen color - most bed frame color options I see are boring in white, beige (read yellow), black, gray, or navy. This frame seems supportive and sturdy and you don’t need a box spring. Our queen mattress fits the frame and doesn’t protrude over the edge and there’s low risk for stubbing your toes or banging your knees on the frame. The drawers are not on a track, just loose on wheels and they attach to the frame by Velcro. The inside of the drawers are plastic which I prefer to the wire baskets that I’ve seen some other storage beds have. My husband did not encounter any complications assembling it. Very happy with this esthetic and affordable bed frame for our guest room.. Michelle C. CA. Wed Sep 23 2026

A reinforced slat system with multiple center support legs provides dependable stability without the need for a box spring, making this bed a refined and practical foundation for everyday living.

Decent bed. Feels sturdy enough I was able to put it together alone, but it took about 8 hours going at a slow pace with lots of breaks. Get a kneepad if you have one. Be sure to look at both sides of each piece immediately after you attach to make sure you have the right orientation. I found a backwards one twice and it was a considerable setback. The directions could be confusing at times, generally just sitting and staring at the parts for a bit or looking ahead to next few steps would made it clear. I'm giving it a 4 star review be use a received 3 unlabeled parts, luckily I could narrow them down. And because the pull out shelfs cannot be wheeled out , at least if you have carpet, and are a very tight fit. Photo attached shows why. The bottom of the shelf sides touches the ground and makes the wheels pointless. I will likely use them in the closet instead. The storage drawers are a little awkward to use. I struggle get the hook lined up and set in the slot to close them. Do not recommend if you have a bad back or mobility issues. The light is great if you like a bit of a night light.. M. Madison, WI. Amazing bed! Definitely intermediate-hard (i couldn’t do it alone) build, would recommend usingrenting a drill. The fabric is super soft, the wood is quite nice, and the lights work great. One critique is the shelves don’t fit my books vertically so I stacked them horizontally, but obviously that’s just a little thing. Also the drawers are completely wired framed whoch I didn’t realize. So far it’s great(and quiet, hopefully it’s durable too!. Anonymous. Sun Sep 13 2026

This platform bed combines chunky proportions and subtle details for a casual, understated modern appeal. It's crafted from solid acacia wood with a dark brown finish. The rectangular panel headboard features simulated tongue and groove panels, architectural bronze pulls on the footboard, and a heavy butt-jointed frame. We love how the rich finish keeps the wood's active grain center stage. Our favorite detail is the two doors in the footboard, which offer sleek out-of-sight storage for extra blankets, pillows, and much more. This bed has center legs that provide additional support. Best of all, no box spring is necessary.

Really great bed! Larger than I expected and our mattress seems to leave small gaps on either side which is weird! Draws are smooth but the wood shows all the dust and dog hair so wiping it down often.. Ugne. Rio Rancho, NM. Tue Mar 10 2026

Upholstered Bed ,comfortable upholstered bed frame, Chenille fabric, with headboard and solid bed frame. With drawer for storage.- (88.5''*68.5''*31'')

Extremely good value for price. Very elegant! I recommend paying for assembly-well worth it.. Cra. CA. Fri Jul 24 2026

The clean lines of this upholstered platform bed California King size create a peaceful atmosphere, and the unique design of the headboard, footboard and side rails give a cozy feel that will not only fit in with any home decor, but will become the centerpiece of your room.

Overall the main bed frame has been solid - no shaking, which is what I was worried about. The headboard is another story, that part is not as well constructed so it's more decoration. It's also overall bigger that a Cal King mattress so there is an open space on either the top or bottom (picture), the sides are an exact fit. Since the frame is sturdy for, um, adult time, I'm glad we decided to save the money versus the much more expensive other stores! Also tip - to get the drawers underneath to actually "latch" we have to push them to the side, the "drop from the top" mechanism doesn't work for us.. Alex. CO. Thu Jul 02 2026

Just one look, and there is no doubt where this bedroom set belongs—in a modern home. For starters, a striking two-tone design is produced by allowing large blocks of high gloss white to be interrupted by dark, metallic gray gaps. The headboard and case good panels all feature this bold color contrast. True to modern pieces, drawer handles are out of sight, as the gaps serve as concealed pulls as well. Look closer, and you’ll notice how the gaps themselves are not even in width; this purposeful asymmetry adds more to the appeal and modern vibe.

Beautiful and sturdy bed frame. Directions on which screws to use in specific areas weren't clear enough, but the Hubby was able to figure it out and complete the bed quickly. Overall, the finished product is exactly what we were looking for.. Anonymous. Mon Jul 17 2023
