I am so freaking happy about the quality of this chair. Online purchases are such a risk, for quality and comfort. But this chair nails it on both. I sink right into it in the best way possible. I was nervous about it looking sloppy too, because some of the review pics made it seem like the slip cover was messy but it's not and it steamed out beautifully. We are VERY happy with our two Basia Chairs! The Snow Ivory fabric appears high quality. It's soft and has dimension although it is slightly loose. The dark (almost black) wood is well done. It looks "finished" with nicely smoothed edges. The icing on the cake is that not only is the chair attractive, but it sits nicely! I (5'5") could sit comfortably in it for an hour or so and have a nice conversation without constantly shifting. My husband (5'11") is also comfortable in it.
