The size, the color and the construction. They are very well made. They were on back order and took several months to get, but they were well worth the money. We are VERY happy with our two Basia Chairs! The Snow Ivory fabric appears high quality. It's soft and has dimension although it is slightly loose. The dark (almost black) wood is well done. It looks "finished" with nicely smoothed edges. The icing on the cake is that not only is the chair attractive, but it sits nicely! I (5'5") could sit comfortably in it for an hour or so and have a nice conversation without constantly shifting. My husband (5'11") is also comfortable in it. I purchased this chair for my office. I already own a Fairfield chair in a different room which is nearly 20 years old and still looks brand new. Sturdy, solid, good looking, traditional chairs. I'm 5'8" about 140 lbs, but my husband is 6'2" and 300 lbs and both of us can use this chair (the Cabot) comfortably. It's a larger chair but doesn't have a huge footprint, so it can go anywhere. I notice when company comes over, people sit in it. I did request a few fabric samples from Fairfield before ordering, and I'm glad I took that extra step to get exactly what I wanted.
