Stools are solid with a comfortably ample-sized seat. Nail head detail and metal foot plate are great. These are well made barstools, however, I would not suggest you order them as you cannot get wood swatches and without that, you have no idea what the color actually is. I ordered 4 of these stools in the wood finish color “Hampton.” Online, Hampton looks brown as you can see in the photos. In person, it is definitely grey which goes with nothing in my house, they look terrible. I have contacted customer service who is supposed to be trying to find out if I even received the correct color and/or if there is anything I can do about this. I was supposed to hear back within 48 hours and have heard nothing from them and now my order is marked unable to return or replace so I cannot even file another claim. I will keep trying but if I were you, I would not order any Vanguard furniture unless you insist on being able to see wood swatches first. $8,000 is a lot of money for the wrong finish. Linda.
