This chair is definitely oversized, and the grey color is very subtle. The material seems to be of nice quality. Although I’m not impressed of the fit of the slipcover , it’s kinda sloppy looking. I tried to tuck and straighten the material but still wasn’t nice and neat ! I think it’s more suitable for a den or bedroom.. Linda. West Salem, OH. Thu Nov 20 2025

Absolutely one of my favorite chairs, the “chair and a half”. I love it cuz it’s the perfect size to have an excuse to sit by yourself yet have enough room to just curl up comfortably and take a nap. The chair has enough firmness so the material won’t get stretched or worn out. And the material on the chair was a pleasant surprise. It is so perfect! I was hesitant to order this expensive chair without trying it out, but it’s hard to find a vanguard showroom and I had heard that it’s a top notch furniture company so I took the chance. The chair is well made and beautiful. It came a little later than expected, around 6 weeks after the order was placed, which is really not that long for custom, so I am very pleased all around and am tempted to order a second one.. I love this chair! It took awhile to be available in the color I wanted but once it was, delivery was fairly timely. It's a deep seat but my shorter sister found it just fine for her. My husband and I are tall and it works for us. It's not super soft but I can see enjoying it with a good book. My only complaint and thus 4 stars is that some of the seams are puckered. It probably wouldn't be an issue if they are up against a wall but I have them in the room where the back is presented. I like the chairs enough to live with it but.... Toni. Milton, GA.
