This cage is really worth it. I got the sandstone colour. It took me forever to find a nice quality cage with HORIZONTAL BARS. These types of bars are meant for birds because it’s easy for them to climb. AE is one of the best bird cage companies. The finish is a strong powder coating. The top can be removed if you don’t like the stand. Im not the biggest fan of the very deep foodwater bowls, as I have a small parakeet, but they still work work. It would be nice if the door had an attachment to keep it open or closed, but I fixed this with a couple of plastic bird toy clips. I bought this gorgeous cage for our budgie. It’s perfect for a small bird. I don’t recommend for the larger and stronger birds because the wires are thin and could be possibly bent. I also would not recommend it for finches due to the bar spacing and the possibility of their tiny heads getting stuck. As another reviewer stated, it’s not a shiny silver, but great. It does appear silver in the light. I love the transparent base that allows me to see my bird even when he’s in the bottom. This cage would be large enough for a pair of parakeets. I purchased the black stand elsewhere because Wayfair only had it in white. It’s easy to assemble with no tools needed. The only improvement I can see is for the manufacturer to as another door on a lower level. The one door is up high. It’s a great cage for the money and looks absolutely gorgeous in our new home..
