It's a lovely cage, well made and designed for a small bird, like my cockatiel. The birds all love it so far; the door stays open all day, and they've spent quite a bit of time inside so far. Very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend. I love this bird cage! I was able to assemble on my own until lifting the cage to assemble to the base. The instructions were wrong in stating that the short screws serial were required to attach. Use the long screws. The other flaw was that on the Allen wrench the short end should have the screw driver as it was near impossible to use what was provided. From past experience I saved the box it was packed in right til completion and top finnial was missing!! Very disappointed but will find something else to put on top.
