I bought this gorgeous cage for our budgie. It’s perfect for a small bird. I don’t recommend for the larger and stronger birds because the wires are thin and could be possibly bent. I also would not recommend it for finches due to the bar spacing and the possibility of their tiny heads getting stuck. As another reviewer stated, it’s not a shiny silver, but great. It does appear silver in the light. I love the transparent base that allows me to see my bird even when he’s in the bottom. This cage would be large enough for a pair of parakeets. I purchased the black stand elsewhere because Wayfair only had it in white. It’s easy to assemble with no tools needed. The only improvement I can see is for the manufacturer to as another door on a lower level. The one door is up high. It’s a great cage for the money and looks absolutely gorgeous in our new home.. My cockatiel's name is Angel and she has been with us for around 23 years or so. I recently had purchased a large cage for her but it was way too big and she stayed in one corner on a perch all the time. This cage seems more comforting for one bird, or two. Divided Flight Cage encourages exercise in your finch or other small bird. One front access door on each side of the divided cage plus a full-length pull-out, removable plastic tray allows for quick and easy cleaning. Interior space can be divided with the included mesh divider. Our Flight Cage includes four food/water cups plus four perches and measures 24" Long, 16" Wide, and 16" High with ½’’ wire spacing.

Cage was shipped in the original box. A few bars are bent however they function properly. Some bent bars are to be expected with thin wire cages. Put together in five minutes on my own. I got this for when I travel with my two green cheek conures. The divider does its job. It can be pushed out by the birds so I clipped it to the cage. My two conures are aggressive to eachother but also very bonded so they always have to be close. I recommend using the divider for traveling at least so one bird doesn't injure another. I thought the bowls would be a problem but they stick their heads right in to get food and water. You will need clips for the front doors if you have birds that like to escape.
