Beautiful cage, perfect size, wheels are smooth, but gave 4 stars because several pieces were bent enough that one of the joining screws on the upper corner could not connect. My bird loves this tall cage fir hes swing and high areas. I like it because its light and i can hold it and walk through doors and set in shower stall for easy clean up. I do buy a new cage once a year due to cleaning the coating wears off. I wouldnt recommend this cage for larger birds. This is perfect for the Senegal, Sunfire maybe Quakers but if you have an animal thats prone to bitting and bending bars or trying to get out this may not be the cage for you. The metal is easily bendable however my parrot uses it like a safe place, shelter and hes outside of it just as much as hes inside of it. Fortunately I dont have an escape artist or a bar bitter. if you have someone similar youll love this cage. I woke him up to take a picture he wasnt a happy camper hes hiding in the top arch area.. Nice sturdy heavy cage just as discribed but not exactly what I expected. It is pretty but the bars are thicker than our previous cage so it's harder to see the birds. It only has 1 actual access opening so not convient to move things around in the cage. Other 3 openings are for changing food & water out. This is very common for many cages but my birds are not tamed and I do not have a bird room. I love how convenient it is to clean the cage with the pull out grid and the metal tray. Much better than grid inside cage and staticy plastic tray. The cons are some parts are slightly off and the bottom catcher comes apart. Really great cage after custom fitting it out the perch placement(made some from dowels), food&water, and toys. Also, it was big enough for me to get two new parakeets (4 in all) which makes for a lot of busy antics and chatter (which I luv). Was concerned bars mite be too wide for for smaller birds, but it's perfect. Large front door makes cage/food change very easy. Haven't tried the open yet.... Susan. Massachusetts. Sat Jan 23 2021
