Nice sturdy heavy cage just as discribed but not exactly what I expected. It is pretty but the bars are thicker than our previous cage so it's harder to see the birds. It only has 1 actual access opening so not convient to move things around in the cage. Other 3 openings are for changing food & water out. This is very common for many cages but my birds are not tamed and I do not have a bird room. I love how convenient it is to clean the cage with the pull out grid and the metal tray. Much better than grid inside cage and staticy plastic tray. The cons are some parts are slightly off and the bottom catcher comes apart. Overall like the cage and hope I can tame the birds so the can come out.. Marie Choy. Maspeth, NY. Sun Jul 26 2020

I love this for my finches except the doors. There is no small opening and until I rigged up a way to hold a towel in place, I’d lose a bird every time I opened the door. Also, no liner on the bottom, you need to make your own.. Rachel. Southern Pines, NC. Mon Jul 06 2026

This could not have worked out any better for my cat. We just moved into a new house, and we wanted our cat to be able to go outside but not run away. There is no way for my cat to get out of this cage unless they dug under. We have a lot of predators, and this cage definitely allows time for the cat to get back through the cat door and into the house. We put it in front of a window with a cat door. It is very well made. I put it together by myself, which was a little bit of a struggle, but I still was able to do it. A tip is to use zip ties to loosely hold it together while you’re screwing it together.. Liss. This cage is large and durable. Assembly was a bit complicated as a few pieces were mislabeled, but after process of elimination I was able to figure it out. You’ll definitely need someone to help you with the way the screws and nuts are placed. For a bird cage it’s different in the sense that it’s a chicken wire pattern rather than vertical bars, and it doesn’t have built in food and water doors. Overall, it’s a fairly decent cage..
