I love this mailbox. My first inclination was to have Handy install but decided to tackle it myself. I went on Etsy and ordered the classically styled numbers which I hope hold up over time (Etsy seller Hildahomedecor solid brass numbers) My handyman came over today and used liquid glue to lock in the finial so that it can’t be twisted off and disappear (I hadn’t even thought to do that) Project is complete except for getting the old post out!. The parcel locker is a good size. I placed it behind the column in front of my house. The lock, however, is poorly placed. It is 34 of the way down near the bottom. We had to place the locker on 4 upturned cinder blocks to raise it high enough to make out the combination on the lock without practically standing on your head. The lock itself is very hard to read. It really is too small for the size of the unit and the numbers are very tiny and silver just like the dial so they are very hard to see. The combination was easy to change. Other than the lock, I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend it.. Lace. FL. Sat Sep 08 2018

I just had the mailbox installed. It is VERY SOLID and heavy. Adds a lot of oopmh and curb appeal. Mailbox was shipped and arrived in under a week. (It travelled from CA to PA). It arrived in two boxes. One for the post and one for the mailbox plus other pieces. Items were bubble wrapped and it arrived without a single scratch. Putting it together was easy, just 5 pieces in all. I downloaded the PA Postal requirements for mailbox placement and followed those measurements as we placed the mailbox unit out in front of our house. The install was about 4 hours in all for us. Our biggest hang up was pounding the posts in the ground and tying the string around the mailbox post to keep the mailbox completely level as we mixed our Quikcrete and poured it. Recommendation, get some tent or metal posts from a hardware store before beginning the installation. It looks great 24 hours later!. R Wall. Berks, PA. Sun Aug 06 2023
